Zoe's mouth went dry as she looked down at the picture of herself in front of the departmental store. He had known about it this whole time, or had he just found out about it? Zoe wondered, unable to raise her eyes from the picture to look into Zhang Wei's face. 

Had he been deliberately pretending this whole time? She didn't know whether to hope he had been deceiving her or not. If he had actually been serious about the whole gay thing, then she could retain her right to be angry with him and wouldn't have to offer any apology for deceiving him, but if he had been deliberately pretending to be gay, then it showed how much of a hypocrite she was, and then it would mean she was the one who owed him an apology, but that way she would also have him to herself. 

"You can't come up with any more lies, I suppose?" Zhang Wei asked when she refused to say anything after some time. 

"How long?" Zoe asked without meeting his gaze.
