Ann had a confused frown on her face as she and Tae-Joon walked into the small restaurant and settled into their seat. 'Why did this place and the people in it seem more familiar than her home and family?' Ann asked herself as she looked around the restaurant and some of the people eating. 

"I heard you were involved in a car accident with your father. How are you? And how is your father doing?" Mrs. Shu asked as she walked past their table to serve a customer.

"We are both fine. Thanks for your concern," Ann said with a polite bow, even though Mrs. Shu had walked past them already. 

Ann's lips curved in a smile when Sara walked into the restaurant, and Mrs. Shu glared at Sara.

"How many times do I have to tell you to stop coming late?" Mrs. Shu asked Sara.

"Why are you smiling?" Tae-Joon asked as he followed her gaze. He quickly recognized Sara as the girl from the hospital who was Ann's friend.
