110 Ovarian Cancer

Immediately after Doctor Wilfred left the house, Grandma Rosie walked down to Grace's room to at least spend some time with her before she would leave.

She stopped by the open door when she saw Grace sitting on her bed with her face in her hands. There were no open luggage boxes or suitcases on the bed anymore.

"Ann? What is wrong? You're not leaving anymore?" Grandma Rosie asked with a worried frown as she moved over to the bed to place her hands around Grace's shoulder.

Grace turned to look at the sweet old lady she was fast becoming fond of and turned around to embrace her. "No, I'm not leaving. Family comes first," Grace told her as she held on to her.

It was funny that she hadn't taken note of just how frail grandma Rosie was until that moment. It was probably due to the fact that she had no idea what grandma Rosie had previously looked like before her arrival.
