"Arise and shine, honey! It's a new day," Mrs. Jiang said in a sing-song tone as she pushed open the door to Ann's bedroom and walked over to the bedside to lift off the duvet which was wrapped around her. 

"What is going on?" Ann asked sleepily when she opened her eyes and saw Mrs. Jiang standing beside her bed, fully dressed like she was going somewhere.

"We are going shopping," Mrs. Jiang announced with a brilliant smile as she walked over to the closet. 

"Shopping? Why?" Ann asked as she looked at Mrs. Jiang in confusion before picking up her phone to check the time. It was barely seven in the morning, so what was she talking about?
