"Oh, my God! Mel! What a pleasant surprise!" Jessica exclaimed when she opened the door and saw Melanie standing there wearing sunglasses with a shawl over her head. 

Melanie had a slight smile on her face as she returned Jessica's hug, "How have you been?" 

"Not bad at all. Please come in. How is Melvin? And why do you keep taking down his scandals? I love seeing news of him," Jessica said with a cheerful smile as she led Melanie to the living room. 

"He doesn't live to entertain you. Go get a new hobby," Melanie said with a soft chuckle as she took her seat and looked around her for signs of Todd. 

"So why didn't you take down the news of him and the other badly dressed girl he was kissing at that car park?" Jessica asked curiously as she took her seat beside Melanie, making her smile in amusement. 

How could she have almost forgotten how much of a gossip Jessica could be? She had missed the lady's company for the past couple of years.
