66 "Are You A Girl?"

Zhang Wei, who was squatting beside the bed, looked at Zoe's toenails with a puzzled frown. Why was it looking so feminine and even neatly painted? Was Zane, by chance, gay? Or bisexual? He wondered with a frown.

Zoe stirred in her sleep. She had felt her shoe being taken off but had been feeling too sleepy to open her eyes.

She suddenly remembered she had dozed off on Zhang Wei's bed and sprang up, startling Zhang Wei, who fell back to the ground.

"What are you doing?" She asked, even as her heart beat wildly against her chest. Her eyes widened in surprise when she realized he was still staring at her toenails with a frown.

"I was just trying to take off your shoes so you could sleep more comfortably. What is that? Why do you have it on your nails?" Zhang Wei asked, standing to his feet without taking his eyes off her legs even as she tried to cover them with the duvet.
