13 Chapter - 12

(Mia P.O.V)

“Mom I am home,” I shouted entering my house.

“Welcome home sweetie, I have something for you,” she said entering the living hall while drying her hand with the apron

then she gives me a letter.

“What is this?” I ask.

“Read it,” is the only thing she said. I open the letter and read it.

“It’s from Spain,” I said to her.

“From Spain?” she asks confused.

“My scholarship.....My scholarship has been accepted by my college dream,” I said jumping up and down in excitement.

“Congratulations Mia,” mom said and engulf me in a bone crush hug.

“I can’t believe it, I got a scholarship of my dreams collage,” I said hugging her back while grinning like an idiot.

“It’s time for celebration, let’s go outside and celebrate it,” my mom said while grinning at me.

“I know but can we celebrate it, on another day, I am tired right now,” I said with a small smile.

“Sure, go and get fresh and I will prepare your favorite food for you,” she said while smiling at me.

“Thank you mom, thank you thank you thank you so much, I love you,” I shouted while hugging her and run off to my room.

I can’t wait to share this new with my best friend.

After taking a shower and getting fresh, I skype Ethan on my laptop. Fortunately for me, he was already was online in the skype.

“Het Ethan, I have something to share with you,” I said grinning like an idiot.

“What is it?” he asks excitedly.

“Do you know about the application for a scholarship I send to Fly high college in Spain?” I ask.

“Yeah, what about it?” he asks popping popcorn in his mouth.

“It’s get accepted,” I said grinning from ear to ear.

“So are you going to leave?” he asks in a sad voice.

“I am thinking of it, it’s about my scholarship and I was waiting so long for this,” I said frowning at his weird behavior after

knowing the new.

“I can understand, so are you going to accept,” he asks, his shoulder slump down in defeat.

“Yes, it’s about my future and dream,” I said while looking at her confusedly.

“I understand,” he said looking down at his hands.

“Are you okay?” I ask getting worried about him.

“I want to tell something to you, I want you to know this before you leave,” he said still not looking at me.

“What is it?” I ask.

“I like you, Mia, I always like you,” he said out of blue making me socked.

“You liked me?” I asked shocked.

“Yes since the day I met you in your college,” he said looking at me.

“Forgive me Ethan but the feeling are not mutual, I never feel something for you except friendship,” I said looking down at

my hand.

“But Mia,” he said.

“Mia comes down for dinner,” my mother shouted for me saving me from an awkward situation.

“Coming mom,” I shouted back.

“I have to go, Ethan, I will call you back,” I said while looking at him sadly.

“Listen, Mia, wait,” he said but I just ignored him and turn off my laptop.

*Oh god I never knew he feels like that for me, now I feel like a bitch,* I thought with a sigh.

“Mia,” my shouted at me again.

“Coming,” I shouted back and walk downstairs to have dinner with her.

(Nate P.O.V)

*How can all this happens everything was going right and according to the plan then what’s gone wrong* I thought while sitting on my favorite spot.

“I am really sorry Mr. Nara but she lost the baby, you can’t become the father anymore,” the doctor said while looking with sympathy at me.

* Flashback ends *

I can’t able to hold myself anymore and break down into the tears.

“Why? Why me?” I ask looking at the sky while crying my heart out.

“Why did you have to take the only thing I want most in this world,” I ask.

I cried until there are no more tears in my eyes. I get myself together and walk back home.

As soon as I enter my home Anna runs to me and engulfs me in a bone-crushing hug.

“Don’t worry Nate everything is going to be okay?” she said while hugging me.

“Nothing is going to be okay now Anna, everything is finished now, everything,” I said while pulling her away from me. I

walk to the guest room and locked myself in ignoring her calls for me.
