6 Had Just Begun

The moment they finished preparing the things they needed for the academy such as their books, specific items needed, and their clothes, it was already time for them to go to the academy.

Elenea went out of the room first. Her hair was tied in a messy bun, the tendrils of her hair at the side of her face.

She wore a long white tunic with a loose frilly design at the end of her sleeves that covered her whole arms. On top of the blouse was a navy blue topper that is slightly longer than her tunic. She wore black breeches, and to finish her whole outfit, Elenea wore tan thigh-high boots.

"Wow, Elenea! You look so beautiful!"

Hearing the children's compliment, Elenea smiled and bent down to ruffle one of the children's hair.

"Thank you," she said, and at the same moment, it was now Aranea to come out of the room. She wore the clothes their mother had given her.

Her long straight red hair was tied in half. She wore the pink fitted crop top that accentuated her busty breasts and it even showed her stomach.

The pink skirt also emphasized her flawless legs, and to top it off, Aranea wore light pink timberlands as her shoes.

Jack and Ralph widened their eyes in surprise. They are young teenagers, so it was understandable for them to react this way.

"I-isn't this a bit revealing?" Jack commented as he averted his gaze from Aranea, making Ralph chime in.

"Y-yeah," he agreed. "I mean... Aranea is beautiful and sexy, but I fear someone might attack her because of what she is wearing," he added, making Aranea roll her eyes at them.

"That is the least of my problems," she said as she crossed her arms in front of her chest. "Besides, women can wear anything that they want! Men should have to control their thoughts and actions! It is never the woman's fault!"

Hearing what Aranea had said, the boys nodded then smiled at her.

"You're right. It is not a woman's fault," Ralph said, making Aurelia look at her two daughters.

"Oh, Elenea, Aranea," she trailed off, then she gave the two a tight embrace. "Please do well in the academy and take care of yourselves," she added, making the two girls embrace their mother.

"Of course," they said in unison as a tear escaped from the corner of Aurelia's eyes.

"Now, we will wait until it is the holidays for you to come home," their mother said, making the two girls nod.

With that, they said goodbye to everyone in the orphanage, their home. They wore their robes, then their mother, Aurelia, walked them to an abandoned bus stop for Elenea and Aranea to go to the academy.

The moment they had arrived in front of the bus stop, the two girls furrowed their brows in wonder, knowing that this bus has no use and that no buses would stop in front of them.

"Er, mom," Aranea trailed off as she held on to her luggage, her bow behind her dangling around her shoulder. "Isn't this bus stop out of service?" she asked, making Aurelia smile.

"Yes, it is out of use for humans," she said, then she gave the two girls what seemed to be a necklace with a gem hanging around it.

On the gem, the two girls noticed that an engravement of a diamond was on it. The word "Mystic" glinted on the necklace from time to time.

"What is this?" Elenea asked, making their mother look at them.

"Both of you, hold it and raise it as if you try to reach for the sky," she instructed, making the twins look at each other, but they still did their mother's instruction.

The two of them held the gem of their necklace and raised their hands in the sky. Soon after, a blaring horn of a vehicle resounded, along with its roaring engine.

With a sound which is foreign to them since there were rarely vehicles coming in their area, the two girls widened their eyes in surprise.

At the same moment, an unusual bus stopped in front of them and opened its door. The bus was too high, making the girls open their mouth wide in shock.

"H-how can this bus keep its balance?" Elenea asked, finding it illogical for a bus to look like this.

Aurelia giggled.

"There are a lot of possibilities when it comes to magic. Keep your necklaces, as it serves as your transportation device," their mother answered and reminded, making the two girls nod hesitantly, still finding the bus weird.

Soon after, a man with a beak of a bird came out, making Aranea point at the creature with astonishment.

"Th-the person has a beak!"

The creature already knew that they are new in the academy, hearing the girl's remark. He gave them a small bow as he got the luggage of the two girls then spoke, surprising them more.

"The bus will be bound to Mystic Academy, quack! Enter the bus now, or you will be left behind, quack!"

"Q-quack..." the two sisters mumbled in unison, their mother tapping their shoulders to get their attention.

"Now listen," she started then continued speaking. "The currency of the academy is different from the money we have here in our world."

With that, she gave her daughters a pouch and jiggled it, a peculiar sound that sounded like pebbles rubbing against each other was heard.

Elenea and Aranea looked at each other. They opened a pouch to reveal small diamonds, as tiny as a pebble.

"What are these, mother?" Aranea asked, and her mother answered her question.

"Those are called Diaz. It is the academy's mode of money. Without that, then you can't pay for anything."

"All aboard, quack!"

Suddenly surprised with the man's announcement, Aurelia gave her two daughters one last hug.

"Oh, hurry up, or you'll be left behind!"

With that, the twins smiled at their mother and kissed her on the cheek.

"Take care of everyone at the orphanage. We'll see you over the holidays," Elenea said, making Aurelia nod.

The moment they broke from their embrace, the twins rode the bus and sat at the right side of the bus, waving their hands as they bid them goodbye.

Now their journey going to Mystic Academy and what lies ahead had just begun.
