2 Ace Bar Club

After met with Ella on that night, the following day through the weekend Camelia only does her job mostly in her apartment. She looking for a plot and story for her new book. She needs to do it as soon as possible as her editor already ask her through email. If she calls her at the end and she still did not have a plot, it will be really dangerous for her, as her editor is strict and scary when she is really angry.

Camelia "It is weekend now and it is good at least I already found the plot for my new story. If not my editor will come to my apartment right now and will not go until I found it, or at worse, she will stay overnight and will not go until I create some story of it. Hmm, but I think I forgot something, what is it?"

Then, her phone is ringing. While she looks at it, she found Ella is messaging her.

Camelia ''Hmm, why she message me? It is quite rare as usually at this time, she should on the date with her fiancée.'' The time right now is four o'clock in the afternoon.

When she read the message, she is terrified.

Ella "You forget right that today you should go to the Ace Bar that I told you before? Do not think that I will let you go just like that. I will remind you now. You need to prepare yourself right now! Go to bath, use makeup according to what I teach you before and use the dress that we choose together. Provide a picture of you and inside of the Bar as well, as proof so that you not lying to me."

Camelia "How can she know me so well… I guess that is what happens when we are a best friend for more than 10 years." T 0 T

Camelia accepts her fate and prepares herself according to what her best friend asked. When she is finished, it already around five p.m, she takes the member card that given by Ella before, puts it in her bag, and calls a taxi to go to the Ace Bar immediately.

When she reached the Star Hotel, she asks the direction of Ace Bar from the Front Office. The location of the Bar is on the Underground Floor which is 1 floor below right now.

When I reach there, I give the member card to the receptionist on the front and come inside the Bar. I can see that it is really a good place according to its reputation. Good interior with a hint of luxury. The balanced color of the bar between gold, black and red makes this place looks gorgeous. With a wide space, the customer can have some privacy if they want to be alone. The staff is hospitable as well, they try to give their best service so that the customers feel comfortable to stay in the Bar.

Camelia likes this place and she is going to the bar and ask some bartender to make her a low alcohol drink, as she has low alcohol tolerance and cannot drink too much.

After that, she sits on the table for two-seat only near the end of the Bar place that quiet and a bit private. She then takes a selfie of herself with the drink and the bar as a background and sent the picture to Ella while texting her "This is proof that I come to the Ace Bar okay. Do not say that I lie to you. This place is gorgeous, I really like it. Thank you to give me opportunities to go to this kind of place. As I know to become a member it should be quite expensive."

Camelia then drinks her drink slowly while savoring some snacks that given free from the bartender.

After a while, Ella replied to her "It is good that you like the place, but do not forget that you need to look for your partner to be. Try to talk to someone and not just sitting around, okay."

Camelia replied to her "Okay, I know that. It just that I feel nervous as I do not go to this kind of place before and I do not know what should I talk about…"

Then Ella replies with the link 'How to make the first conversation with a guy'. "I sent you a link, read it, and try to make conversation okay. Even if you cannot get the partner today it is fine, just make sure that at least you converse a bit with some people, especially guy."

"Okay" replied her to Ella.

She then read the article in the link properly. In mind, she thinking okay list number one ask for some recommendation, anything like music, movie or restaurant with good food to eat, look for some common ground. List number two talk about the environment you are in right now, as an open line of communication and make it broad from there. List number three, pay him a compliment. Find something that you think is attractive and make him smile, as no one would not like a compliment from someone, list number four …

As she read it, she knows better how to make conversation with other people and make her a bit more confident.

"Now who should I make conversation with?" This is what her thinking while observing the other people in the bar.

She looks that near her table there are four other tables occupied. The table on her right has three peoples on it, two guys and one woman and still in deep conversation. Maybe they are talking about works or projects.

The second table that she sees is on her left side, it has two women on it while laughing together. She thinks they are a friend that meets on the weekend while chatting or gossiping.

The third table is consists of one guy and one woman that flirting with each other, the ambiance in that table is quite sexy as they are really close with each other and look like they want to kiss.

"Better not look at it" is what Camelia thinks while her face was a bit red.

The fourth table is in her diagonal and near the bar. It is only one guy, but in his table, he has two glasses, one is near him and one is on his opposite side. Maybe he is with someone else, like a friend, and she or he might go to some other place and will be back later as the drink still half full.

"Hmm, should I go there and make conversation? Or should I look at other tables? There should have a table or bar that only has one guy. I will look at it again." Think Camelia.

Unfortunately, after she is looking around, all tables occupied by two or more people and only that table guy that by himself.

"Hh. I can not found only one guy except that man near my table, should I go there and make a conversation? But if not, Ella will be angry. Better do it now or never" Said Camelia to herself.

She gets up from her seat and walking to the guy. When she reached his table, she makes a conversation.

Camelia "Hi, my name is Camelia Campbell, can I sit here and talk to you for a moment?"

The guy "…"

"Why he is not answering me? Is he ignoring me? Or is he okay? Why he is just looking down and do nothing? From my observation before until now, he already in this stance for more than ten minutes" Think Camelia.

Camelia "Sir, are you okay? Do I need to ask the bar staff to help you if you need anything?"

The guy "I… I am fine. Please... Just… Go.." he said while shivering and stuttering with a red face.

"Are you really okay sir? Do you really no need help? I can ask the staff to come." Camelia said while looking around for the staff.

"I think he is sick" is what on Camelia's mind at the moment.

Then suddenly the guy just stands and wants to go, but accidentally he fell and Camelia grabs him. She steadied him and ask "are you okay?"

The guy shivering some more and only said "Ple… Please help me go… to my room."

Then Camelia said "Your room sir? Are you staying in this Hotel? Do you need me to ask the staff to get you to your room instead? As this might be not appropriate since we do not know each other?"

The guy said "No… Please, I want you… to take me to my room. I… do not want the staff here to do it for me… It is dangerous."

"Really? I think all staff here is okay." It is what she thinks, but she still answers him "Okay, I will take you to your room. What are your room number and which floor?"

The guy "It is… On the twenty-fifth floor… Room number 2501." Said the guy while he tries hard not to do something.

Camelia said, "Okay, I will take you there now." She then took him in a hurry to the elevator.

Camelia Campbell did not know that from her action today, her life will be different than before and she cannot change it as this is her fate.
