Chapter 1

Mo Jing Shen walked towards his, no, his and his new wife's bedroom.

His family had married a young male omega wife to him despite his refusal in the beginning.

There was no particular reason for the refusal other than the fact that he had never met him before and that he wasn't ready to have children. When he inherited his father's position as the patriarch of the Mo family, there were a lot of clashes going on within the family and he didn't want to deal with more things on his already overcrowded plate.

As the only alpha son of the 1st wife of the house, he had been named heir by his father and paternal grandfather at birth. But that never stopped other people from dreaming.

Now, he was finally ready to bring his wife, who had been carefully handpicked by his mother, to come in. Jiang Shen had done his own background check on the other party and was quite satisfied with the results.

The other party, Ning Bao Xi had just passed 19 years old and had been looking to marry him since he was 16. He was a well-behaved young omega and was well learned and had a good reputation. He had strong pheromones and was extremely healthy. He was known as a beauty and many young noble alphas had wanted to wed him. But he seemed to have persisted and wanted to get married to him, Mo Jiang Shen.

In the beginning, Jiang Shen wasn't against and was still a little perturbed by this young omega who insisted on marrying him. So perturbed was he, that he went to get a quick glimpse of him in his bedroom.

What sight befell him made him look back on it many a time. The young omega had seemed to be in estrus and was calling his name pitifully as he tended to his needs.

Jiang Shen wanted to get away from the shameful spectacle, but he couldn't help but stay a little more and watch the pearly white silhouette arch beautifully.

He somehow found himself back in his own mansion lightheaded and went through the documents pertaining to the information regarding the omega again. The little omega should have only met him passingly, but he seemed to have taken quite the liking to him.

Jiang Shen tapped the sleek wood of his desk, well, this isn't bad. His little wife seems to be quite cute. He looked forward to marrying him.

Before this, his father had become ill and the battle for power had become prominent. He didn't want to bring the young omega into the gist and told the other party and his family that he wouldn't accept the marriage proposal now and he would understand if little Bao Xi was to be wed to another. After all, most omega married by the age of 17 or 18.

To his surprise, Niang Bao Xi refused to get married to someone else and waited. Leading to Mo Jiang Shen's interest in him.

Mo Jiang Shen was extremely satisfied with his little omega. He decided to let him be the only spouse he would have in his life as he himself had witnessed the toll the concubines had taken on his mother. He didn't want his spirited little wife to end up the same way.

Regardless of the ups and downs, Niang Bao Xi was sitting covered in red waiting for him in his chamber. This would be their first night.
