2 SQUIRREL!
I wake up the next morning and immediately look around for one of those jumbo squirrels. It didn't click till just now, but my wingspan is gigantic. I've seen a bald eagle before with its wings out, but they're babies compared to me now. Hell, I'm bigger than an albatross.
Ah! A squirrel!
Without thinking, I crash down towards it with ungodly speed. As I reach it, I bring my talons out like a hawk does a mouse, and clench hard. My razor sharp claws immediately pierce the squirrels brain and kill it.
'Damn! These things are sharper than I thought!'
I bring it to my branch and munch down on it.
As I bite into its flesh, I meet a little bit of resistance. However, the razor beak mutation comes in handy as I yank my beak back and cut into its flesh with ease.
'Guess they have a skin hardening mutation.'
I eat the whole squirrel and oh boy.

I feel as though my brain forgets something, but I'm not too concerned. What DOES have me concerned is a how a bird as big as me hasn't snapped this branch.

The rest of the day consists of me attempting to fly smoothly through this forest. It's damn near impossible now. I catch a few squirrels and gain a bit of Titan energy from them.

I feel my skin stiffen up, which takes some getting used to. I can still move just as well and have the same range of motion, but I feel like I shouldn't. It's like someone grafted a weighted blanket to my skin. I do feel tougher though.
I keep killing and eating any creature smaller than me, which is weird because there aren't many animals around right now.

I eventually find a cave. A pretty big one at that. I'd say it's bigger than most buildings I've ever seen and I lived in a pretty big city.

I don't care. No use dwelling on the boring past when there's an incredible future ahead of me. Just know, my family is all either gone or dead, and I hated my job. Also I died by suicide so I have no attachments to my past whatsoever.
I don't hate humanity like an edge lord though. I'm just kinda indifferent.
Anyway, the cave is pretty big. It has beautiful jewels poking out of the walls in some places, as well as some weird blue light emanating from a stalagmite on the ground. It seems to be dripping from the stalactite above it. I walk over to it almost instinctively. I guess Death Ravens like shiny stuff. I reach my wing out and let a drop of that blue liquid touch my feather. It feels cold… really cold… then:

I'm so surprised I forgot to curse right! That little bit of blue liquid must be condensed Titan energy or something! I look at the blue rock in front of me and comp down with my beak. I barely chip the surface and yet:
