4 Auction

The Rank 1 seals is somewhat easy to produce. While finding the [Bronze] Rank Beast Core is difficult. Even though Greenday City is next to the Leaf Sky Forest and plenty of beast roams the forest, it's still hard to find a [Bronze] ranked Magical Beast. The outskirts of the forest contains low leveled magical beast. The deeper it is, the higher the beast's level. Normal Adventures rarely venture deep inside. So most of the beast cores found in the city is bellow level 40.

Every hunt yields about an average of three or four beast. At the beginning of the seal refinement process, Luke failed a lot before having a sense of understanding. In the morning, Luke trains by swinging his sword. Before, he actually lost his will to practice the sword, but knowing he would be healed he started practicing again. He practiced till noon and set off to the forest. He would return with some beast and tried to refine them at night, get tired and sleep. Refining the seals is difficult without magic powers. This went on for a month and a news that an auction will be held at the Grey Sword Trading Company Auction House that auctioned off a [Bronze] Beast Core.

The beast's carcass that he hunted over the month is sold to a branch shop of Stillwater Trading Company. The owner is an old friends with his Mother. Luke calls him Uncle John and he gave him a VIP membersip card of the company. Even if he sells beast low level beast corpes for a year he wouldn't even get enough money to enter the auction. Typically, the beast is sold for 1-5 gold coins each depending on the usages and usefulness. A guest would need worth of deposit or an invitation with the Trading Company. Luckily his Mother was invited to the auction. He was thinking of a good reason for his Mother to buy the core. He remembered that it was his birthday a week later and he got his Mother to agree to bid for the core. "She's still a bit suspicious of me wanting to buy that beast core. Should I tell her? Maybe later after I unseal the Flask." Luke decided in his mind.

The auspicious day of the auction has begun. The focus of the Auction this time is a Collection of [Bronze] Rank Equipments from a retired blacksmith. Many carriages and magical beast mount can be seen outside the Auction House.

Anna went out with a beautiful deep purple witch's gown, even though she's in her forties she looks like a 30 year old woman. While Young Master Luke wore a green suit with a long blue coat which matches the blue in his eyes. He isn't too handsome, but he can be considered above average.

Many people were staring at them, because the son and mother pair rarely attended any events in the city. The stares went on as they sat down in their designated room.

"Hey have you heard that Young Master Luke didn't score well in the test?" "They say that he's a cripple who can't even use magic." The crowd behind them started to whisper amongst eachother.

Even though it's not loud, Luke can still hear them. He clenched his fist and is preparing to fight. Until Anna put her hand in his shoulder."You can still prove them wrong, the time has yet to come."

Comforted Anna.

An old auctioneer with white hair and a friendly face appeared on stage. "Greetings to all guest that attended this auction. I on behalf of the Grey Sword Trading Company shall host the auction. For all guest that wants to make a bid shall go and deposit gold to the auction house first. So for each bid won shall be deducted from said guest deposit. If there is gold left from the deposit shall be returned. This is to prevent someone to do an empty bid. I hope every guest can follow these rules, and I apologize for the inconvenience."

A few people were complaining in their hearts but don't dare to say it. The old man acting as an auctioneer is actually Grey Sword Trading Company's Vice President. He looks weak, but everybody who is in the upper class knows that he is a former adventurer. He is a level 40 [Adept Swordsman].

The first item is actually an ordinary looking pitch black sword that no light can be reflected. "This sword is actually a replica of the Legendary NIght Sky" As the words came out of his mouth, many people gasp and recalled the tales and legends surrounding the sword.
