9 Finally a Rest

After what seems like 10 minutes, Vicar suddenly came out as he said "No luck on my side"

Pirius turned his gaze to Vicar as he replied "No worries, Ren found one, can you help me carry this snake over there?"

"It's always me who carries the things anyways" grunts Vicar as he slowly moved toward the tail of the Snake.

"You should carry my Halberd and Shield, since I would have to use two hands for it" suddenly said Vicar

"Sure thing sure thing" replied Pirius as he moved to grab the Halberd and shield off Vicar.

"Man this things are really heavy" grunts Pirius

"Do you want to carry this Snake instead?" followed Vicar

"No I said nothing" replied Pirius with a shrug

"Oh come on let's just move already" Suddenly said Ren

"You should protect and lead the way then" Pirius said as he moved forward

Klaine just stood still saying nothing as he wondered about the time he can check his new profound strength.

Vicar grabbed the tail with both hands as he started pulling it while walking after Ren.

Soon after Minutes of walking they felt the moisture in the air, as the Lake slowly appeared in their sights.

*Small lake? The other end seems really far to call it a small lake?* thought Klaine

"At least there's no Beast to disturb us right now" said Pirius

"Why did we not just capture the fish of the lake and eat it?" suddenly said Klaine

"Well, the flesh of a Rank 8 beast is after all better than those fish" replied Ren this time

"Plus it's healthy!" suddenly said Vicar

*Rank 8?,That's probably the overall power of the beast? But how do they gauge it?* suddenly thought Klaine, but he knew that he should not ask as they might just doubt him once again.

"I see, but how will we cook it?" suddenly asked Klaine as he noticed no cooking tools at all.

"You don't have to worry about that, as we have this Fire Crystal over here" said Pirius as he took out a red colored crystal out from his pocket.

"a Fire Crystal? Can that cook the Snake?" replied Klaine

"Haha, of course not all of it, but it's not like we will eat it all, so we will just need to slash off a few meat that you think you can eat, and cook it with the heat, and Job Done" suddenly said Ren from behind.

*that sounds completely AMAZING* suddenly thought Klaine, as he watched Vicar slash a big chunk of meat before soaking it in the lake, soon followed Ren as he slashed of a chunk of meat also soaking it in the lake, then followed by Pirius, as Pirius also soaked it in.

Then Pirius seeing that Klaine did not move, suddenly said "Go cut the chunk of meat that you can eat, and wash it properly"

Klaine hearing that suddenly moved forward as he unsheathed the Dagger that Pirius gave, as he stabbed it in the flesh of the Snake.

Surprisingly it pierced through the skin like a tofu as Klaine thought *This dagger sure is sharp, freaking dangerous*

Soon Klaine cut off his share of meat as he soaked it in the Lake.

Klaine watched as Pirius passed the Fire crystal to Vicar, who then pressed the crystal on the now wet meat that was laying on the ground.

Soon he saw the Fire crystal releasing a Flame which engulfed the meat.

After about 5 seconds Vicar hurriedly removed the Crystal from the meat, as he looked at the freshly cooked meat, he then passed the Crystal to Ren as Ren did the same, Followed by Pirius, as it was now Klaine turn to do it.

But Klaine had no Idea on how to use it, as he thought *What the fuck, it looks amazing but how do I even use this thing?* as he sized the Crystal up and down.

Vicar and Ren did not really notice this as they were busy eating their fill, but Pirius looked at the curious Klaine as he asked "Do you know how to use it?"

"Uhhh, no" replied Klaine while looking at Pirius

"Well, then let me do it for you" said Pirius as he let out a sigh.

*Just where did you actually come from, you don't even know how to use this things, so strange indeed" thought Pirius as he walked and grabbed the Crystal, which he pressed onto the meat just like before, and done.

"Thank you" said Klaine

"No Problem" Replied Pirius as he sat back down to eat his fill.

Klaine then took the meat which was hot, but not so hot to burn his hands.

*I wonder what's the taste of snake meat?* thought Klaine as he let his teeth sink on the tender cooked flesh of the snake.

Soon he found the taste to be normal, it was bland and difficult to chew no matter how tender it looked like, specially the way it was cooked, no spices or anything, but it still was good enough for him.

Soon he finished it all as he let out a burp, now he was feeling thirsty so he stood up and walked towards the lake, as he grabbed water using his two hands to his mouth as he drank his fill.

Soon the three of them were done too, as Klaine thought *They sure eat much, specially Pirius*

"Anyways we can go rest for a while, Klaine you can sleep for now, We'll wake you up later" said Pirius as he sat still on the ground.

Klaine said nothing as he nodded his head as he lie down on the hard ground.

Soon he fell asleep even though the Ground was hard to sleep on.

Soon making sure that Klaine was asleep, Ren suddenly asked "Just what is the origin of this guy?, not knowing how to use a fire crystal, being lost in the Deep cursed forest, having the strength of a normal human, he should not even be here,"

"I don't know, maybe he was captured by the Goblins from the lower part, and escaped knowing nothing about the Forest? And you are forgetting that he just ate the flesh of a Rank 8 Beast, but he did not show any signs of discomfort or whatsoever, adding another mystery" replied Pirius while frowning

Vicar said nothing as he sat still on the ground.
