25 Whispers

<Arthur....What have you done?...>

'What...what I must."

<That's a lie and you know it.>

Solomon stood in front of me and behind him are the bodies of the survivors I killed.

"A lie?"

Beltway caught this and asked.

"What lie?...hey kid you alright?"

I ignore him and carry on my conversation with him.

"What lie are you referring to?"

<The one where you actually enjoy killing...hurting people. Or have you really forgotten about that night in that godforsaken estate.>

"How could I possibly forget that....that night..that night was a tragedy for all parties."

<Then->

"I have to Solomon...the whispers in my head...I had to shut them up...If I don't kill, the whispers will be erratic and I'm left hearing it constantly...their scream...their pain....think of it as my father's gift of encouragement to cause chaos...but you know about it didn't you, for fuck sake Solomon! you've seen my mind what gave you the right to judge me."

"Hey Lupo....is the kid alright?...he's talking to the dead bodies."

"He's trying to reason himself with his inner demons...god knows I've seen plenty in broken men...what? don't tell me you don't have any demons Beltway?"

"Ha! demons....I've sleep like a baby after I commit the deeds."

Beltway shrug and left Lupo to see me spiral into madness.

<.....Judge you! It's no wonder you're still condemned...still a slave to your father. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!>

"Shut up."

<Your adopted parents...dead.>

"Shut...up."

<Your friends...dead.>

"SHUT UP."

<Your sister.....dead....and all your fault.>

"SHUT UP!!!"

With my scream, everyone was shook by it...it seem I let off a monstrous roar when I yelled.

*WhisperWhisperWhisper*

<You will always be a monster Arthur, you know this yet you still deny it acting like a child, throwing tantrum! you act like you're the smartest in the room but when the situation deems it you loose control and everyone suffers from it. Killing these worms are one thing. But I won't tolerate mindless killing.>

Solomon flickers forward and chokes me. I struggle to break free from his grip, The others were confused to what they're seeing. I glare at Solomon as his face slowly comes towards my, when he grin his teeth resemble that of a shark.

<Look Arthur....this 'walk' is the only way to save not only your sister...but you as well...So change, I mean you learn to trust...didn't you, trusting Takashi's group..it's a step forward Arthur. You can still be save.>

"Save...."

<We'll talk later for now it's best that we leave. Never forget...kill only those who deserved it and had served their purpose.>

-Few Hours Later-

I'm currently walking to the Takagi Estate with the Wolfpack. Lupo stand by my side to check on me.

"Are you alright? What we did back there was something no child should see."

I laugh at her causing her to feel slightly disturb.

"You still see as a child after I gave you an order to slaughter them."

She walks silently and then turn to ask me.

"What is it do you really want us to do?"

"Show me the location for Umbrella's facility, I know there's one here. The virus had to be created somewhere nearby."

"Huh...so that's what your after...why?"

"I need an original sample of the virus."

Four Eyes then pop up from behind looking at me with stars in her eyes.

"Sample! why would you need that.....*gasp* are you planning on using it?"

Was she always a curious one?

"In a way...all of you will be working for me now."

"HA! AS IF! you do know that Umbrella Corps will not tolerate traitors and will hunt us down due to the fact we know a lot."

I look at him and act like a child.

"Ara...didn't realize Beltway can be scared...or did you forget what I can do."

I quickly vacant my eyes and stare at him coldly...he scowled and looks away.

"Fret not Beltway...I'll pay you double the amount, how's that for encouragement."

"Ha! you...paying me as if, I like you tr-"

I rain stacks of money on top of his head from my storage...I stole this money prior meeting with the Wolfpack. Beltway try to get up but was soon drown by the stacks of money...seeing as he's not moving I wave my hand and the money slowly disappear into my storage.

"Anything else you like say?"

I look at Beltway on the floor groaning...he show a thumbs up...good. The other seeing money magically fall from the sky and disappear left them curious in what else I could do.

"Alright you dogs...if we have an understanding then there nothing further to talk about."

The Wolfpack nods and cover my back.....money makes the world go round. Four Eyes stand next to me as we walk and ask questions that I had expected.

"So your powers?...did you get them because of the virus?"

"No...I was born with it (literally when I arrived in this world), plus if it was the virus. I wouldn't be asking you lot for the facility's location to retrieve the sample now would I."

"True..."

"We should be arriving the the Takagi Estate soon."

Lupo said it while looking at her GPS device. Then we hear multiple large stomps from down the block, I gave a signal to the Wolfpack to get into a safe position, the team nods and quickly ran into different direction holding their weapons.

Specter shoot his grappling hook and climb onto the roof of a small building, he then position himself with his sniper for a clear shot. Beltway and Bertha hid on the side of a crash car while Lupo and Four Eyes went into a store and hid there. Vector and I hid behind a tree looking at the source of those stomps.

I signal Vector to move on ahead to check it out, Solomon gave me my guns to provide him some cover. Vector quickly turn invisible holding his assault rifle walking towards the source. As he hid behind a pillar he saw multiple large infected walking down the street....he quickly return to me and inform what he saw...he then relay this information to his team through his communicator.

Vector pass me an extra communicator to use. I then inform the Wolfpack our next move, looking at where they're going...they're making their way to the Takagi Estate. As I thought about it...I soon receive a notification.

[Optional Quest: Defeat The Large Horde Before They Arrive At The Takagi Estate.]

....Damn I turn to face the Wolfpack and when they saw the look on my face they seem slightly disturbed.

"Alright...at this pace and this road...they're heading to the Takagi Estate...we need to stop them."

Beltway hearing this got slight agitated.

"What! are you insane? you want us to kill it."

"You have to earn your paycheck right."

"I like to live to spend it!"

Lupo then raise her hand to stop Beltway from getting to emotional. She looks at me and ask.

"I assume you have a plan?"

"All I need you to do is to cover me...leave them to me."

She looks at me feeling confuse...then she simply nods.

"Very well. Umbrella stop contacting us...they assume we had die. We'll help you the best we can...you better pay us."

Lupo load up her guns and signal her team to get into position.

"Beltway! set some charges down the street as and escape route for the kid, Bertha and Four Eyes you will enter that store to kill some stragglers. Specter will provide us some cover from above that roof. Vector and I will follow the kid to cover him."

Everyone nods at her words...

(The Count Five - Psychotic Reaction)

'Solomon...you there.'

<Yes.>

'You're right....I enjoyed it...the killing. I loved it, but I don't think Alice and the others would love to see me like this.'

<....>

'I was afraid...I was afraid that Alice might see the real me...you're right I should change, I think...my sister did told me that didn't she?'

<Yeah.>

'I see no wonder I felt your words so familiar to me.'

I smile and look towards the horde....I'm coming Alice.
