38 Tyrant

-Guard's POV-

"*Yawn*....I'm so sleepy."

I've been up the entire night due to guard duty...because of that I've been struggling to keep my eyes open.

"Damn...wish someone would give me a coffee."

As I said that I turn to see one of the other guards walking towards me holding two cups of coffee...I feel like my soul is cleanse every time I smell its aroma. He smiles and pass me a cup of coffee...I savor its taste as I drink it and smile stupidly..then he talks to me about the whole monster child situation.

"Do you think he meant what he said as in helping to protect us?"

"Hmmmm, *Sips Coffee* I think he meant it, I mean what the kid said was right and that bitch took it too far asking him to turn himself in which is essentially means killing himself for us..Fuck that, we as adult must protect the children...if we choose to sacrifice one for our own for benefits then we've truly lost our humanity."

"I don't think she meant killing himself for us...there's probably a miscommunication."

I shook my head disapprovingly.

"Think back what the kid said...even if he's the cure, are we expected to wait for him to just give up on his life for us...if it was me I would say fuck off as well....plus we're not that weak..when the kid said that...I felt inspired...from a kid can you believe that."

"Hm...you may be right."

"That kid is gonna save us alright but I'm not going to ask him to die for a cure."

After hearing me said that he smiles and pat my shoulder.

"Alright you can rest I'll take over from..."

*Stomp Stomp Stomp*

All of a sudden we hear loud footsteps coming from in front of us....We turn to see a a large man walking towards us, he's wearing what appears to be a black metallic trench coat. He most defining feature is his size and bald headed as well as his pale skin.

"Stop, or we'll beat you up!"

He yelled at the strange man but he ignores him and continue walking towards us....his cold face seems monstrous causing me to feel chills down my spine. The other guard walks towards him holding his golf club...but soon stop at his trek...we look up to see the man's gigantic size...he's no man.

"S-Step back sir."

The man looks at us with an indifferent expression on his face...he then grab the other guard's head and pick him up...He flail and struggles as he tries to force him to release him...he swung his golf club at his head with all his might but to no avail the golf club broke on impact.

"LET HIM GO!!"

I quickly ran to save him by hitting his leg with the kendo stick...but it too broke on impact causing me to step back. And for the first time, I've seen something horrific....the guard struggles as the monster slowly increases the pressure on his hand squeezing his head...I can hear his skull cracking....he's crying in pain and calling for help with attract the attention of everyone inside the estate...they quickly ran to assist but it's too late....without looking at him the monster crush his skull as if he was nothing and toss him towards the gate.

The gate broke on impact....his body dangle at the broken gate as his blood flows and drip onto the floor. I scream out and before I could react I see a fist flying right at me...and all I heard was the sound of my skull cracking...and now..I think I'm dead.

-Yuriko's POV-

"Everyone fall back! those with guns form a line! we have to protect those inside the compound!"

I yell commanding my men to prepare themselves....after I saw it killed two of my men as if they were nothing it's safe to assume its' nature is similar to Arthur when he lost control...this monster plans on killing us.

"Ma'am we have a shot at it...permission to fire."

My husband is currently organizing his team to evacuate the women and children..those who wishes to fight remain...it seems that Arthur's speech had inspire them to be brave...what a good child...makes me wish he was mine. I smile at the idea of adopting him when this blows over.

"PREPARE TO TAKE AIM!"

The men line up their shot...the monster walks towards us casually with no trace of fear on his face.

"FIRE!"

The men fired their gun, bullets spraying towards it...it uses his had to cover his face...at first he stop moving but after awhile it continue walking towards us....my god.

"MA'AM HE'S NOT DYING!"

I can see that, I bit my lips in fear...damn, Then the monster grunt and charges towards us. The men continue to shoot but it was in vain. The monster quickly stomp one of the men crushing his entire body. He picked up another man and use him as a weapon to smash another man.

Men scream in fear and ran for they life as they shoot...I too quickly retreat.

"RETREAT! FALL BACK!"

Arthur...I'm sorry but we need you. As we ran the monster continue to pummel everyone he sees, smashing them through windows and door. My husband managed to evacuate the civilian someplace safe.

"MOM! MOM!"

Saya-chan...I see my daughter running towards me holding a gun and behind her is Hirano-san.

"Mom we're here to help."

"What you silly child! this is no place for you! get out of here you need to evacuate."

I look at her angrily...she starts to smile and stand by my side.

"I'm not leaving you mom."

Jeez...when did I raise such a great daughter. I hug her tightly and rubs her head.

"Stand behind me...Hirano-san can you provide cover, make sure you keep my daughter safe alright."

Hirano-san then salute towards me and quickly left to get to his position. I quickly turn towards my daughter to ask her something.

"Saya-chan! where's Arthur?"

She looks at me worryingly.

"He left to deal with the Umbrella's spies."

"WHAT!? WHEN!?"

"No clue..but he left somewhere after lunch!..Shizuka-sensei is currently looking for him along with Chiaki-san."

Damn...alright I guess we have to buy time for him to return. As I took aim with my SMG, I felt someone touching my shoulder. I turn to see my husband holding his Katana and next to her is Busujima-san holding hers as well.

"You alright?"

He asked warmly..I smile and hug him. He then turn to see the monster killing his men as if they were ant...it cause him to feel anger like never before...it's been awhile since I last saw him this angry.

"MEN PREPARE YOURSELF!"

Behind my husband were my husband's men as well as the other civilian that chose to remain to protect the estate. They're holding various weapon and put on a brave front. After the monster kill my men he turn towards us slowly.

He snorts and walks towards us slowly....each stomps grew louder and louder as he comes closer to us. Then we saw something frightening hordes of infected had made their way into the estate...but where did they come from...the broken gate?

Seeing this some of the people slowly step back out of fear...My husband turns towards them releasing his aura of confidence towards them as he gaze at them with resolute eyes. He step forward and unsheathed his blade.

"DON'T BE AFRAID...REMEMBER WHAT ARTHUR SAID! WE'RE NOT WEAK! CHARGE! CHARGE TO PROTECT THOSE YOU LOVE! CHARGE TO PROTECT OUR HUMANITY! PUSH THESE FREAKS BACK TO HELL!"

"CHAAAAARRRGEEE!!!!!"

My husband quickly turns and charges towards the monster and the infected...the others followed suit...God...protect us.
