6 The Calm Before The Storm

"Are you hungry Arthur-chan we can go and buy something to eat on the way back to my place."

Shizuka-sensei and I are currently walking towards the train station, I look around the city and find it both beautiful and suffocating...there way too many people here. Unbeknownst to others, I'm suffering from agoraphobia...a mild one but nonetheless and annoying fear to have considering my situation.

But it's not all that bad, because of it I made a habit of being aware of my surrounding so I could formulate plans to avoid any mishaps.

"No it's fine Shizuka-nee, I've eaten already before you came to the house."

"Oh okay, then let's head home, you can help me prepare dinner for when my housemate arrive. You'll like her, she's something of a superhero."

She's referring to Rika Minami...I guess you could say that she's a superhero. But then again I have a strained relationship with cops in general. My main priority is to grab hold of the guns in her locker in their house.

Few days ago, before meeting Shizuka-sensei. Solomon and paid a visit to the black market to obtain illegal guns of course they didn't say no to the money but their eyes greedily looks towards me as if I'm a piggy bank.

They wish to kidnap me and ransom me off. Well long story short, I predicted it would happen so I used Killer Queen to blow up the fuse box and cause a black out inside the warehouse. Before the blackout, I memorized the position where they were standing and sprang into action immediately under the cover of darkness.

Long story short, there were a lot of explosions after the carnage Solomon and I grab the guns and ammo we sorted it out later in our later, anyways the point is you can never have enough guns.

-Few Hours Later-

It's close to late evening now and on our way back I see signs of the government preparing themselves. There were more cops on the street and soldiers who's not in uniform walking around the city.

It's funny thinking back I'm surprise Rika Minami didn't warn Shizuka-sensei about the impending doom that will soon fall on to this city.

It must've been those in the higher up keeping a tight lips from the public to prevent mass panic. They must have told the police and the army that there's an active terrorist cell active in Japan which explains why they're walking around the street.

Solomon's right, a bunker perhaps somewhere safe...but where, but I don't think it's that important at the moment. But it's good to consider it as an option, after something is definitely off but I can't seem to tell what it is.

We soon arrived at Shizuka-sensei's place, she's currently living here as a roomate for Rika Minami. As we enter, I see the infamous Humvee M1025 that the main group will use. It's bigger than I thought.

"Alright when we enter, I'll get ready the water for you to bath in."

Shizuka-sensei open the door and what I see is a beautiful living room, wow...it's definitely different from the source materials. I gave my greetings and walks towards the sofa to sit and while I looking around I see the lockers that holds the guns that I need.

I grinned until I hear a voice behind me.

"Hoooh, who might you be? Mari-chan's love child?"

I turn my head and see a beautiful tanned woman with purple hair, she exude confidence and charms befits a woman of her stature.

'She'll shot you until runs out of ammo.'

But Solomon was right, this is the first time I've met some as beautiful as her. Shizuka-sensei has this childlike behavior in an adult body which I find cute but hers was on different scale. Hmmm, I guess my time in the asylum had cause me to lose some of my sexual desire, but now after seeing her it's coming in full force.

The woman standing behind me is none other than Rika Minami.

I said it to see if I could get a reaction from her but to no avail this woman is troublesome, for some reason she still maintained her expression after I said the word bitten which leads me to believe two things

1. She and the other defense force have no idea what's happening.

2. She's a great actress, but why would she act that way...to keep her guard up if so why keep your guard up towards a child.

In the word...it's number 2. I look up to see her eyes and finally I understood it, her eyes are cold while smiling at me....she's suspicious of me. I can feel the tension in the air rising until.

"Arthur...Arthur-chan, bath's is ready. Oh Nami! you're back so soon! I thought you have to work late. Ah you've meet Arthur ain't he the sweetest boy, I hope you don't mind staying over since he's relative are at the hospital."

Shizuka-sensei ran and hug Rika-san tightly....those things sure are bouncy...

"Sure I don't mind, this little rascal is interesting and cute."

Rika-san put her arm around me hugging me while poking my cheek, then I heard her whispering something into my ear.

"You and I..we're gonna have a talk when Mari-chan sleep. If you try anything, well let hope it doesn't come to that."

Rika-san threatened me while smiling...usually I don't threat kindly and it ends up them chocking in their own blood but she must have a reason. So I nodded.

Rika-san laughs and pats my back.

"Hey Mari take a bath with this kid, I don't think he know's which products to use since we have a lot of them in the bath."

Shizuka-sensei gasp and smiles.

"You're right, come Arthur let's take a bath together. Come Nami you too, it's been awhile since we took a bath together."

Rika-san laughs wryly and agrees.

And just like that I ended up in a perverted scene like in the source materials. I'm currently washing my hair and next to me as turn my head, Rika-san and Shizuka-sensei in the bath tub relaxing. "Indeed so tell me, you're not the nephew for Mari's friend am I correct?"

"Yes."

There's no point in lying at this point I've achieved my first objective and even if she wants to bring me in for questioning she can't for she'll be busy as hell tomorrow.

"And you eyeing my gun lockers.."

"I needed to see if it's there."

"You seem to know a lot."

"I saw the Humvee outside, it's safe to assume you're either part of the military or the police force."

"Wow, pretty smart a kid."

"Thanks, so what now?"

"Now you tell me...what do you think will happen, you wanted to get close to Mari for some reason, she's only a school nurse and nothing else so that's means something is gonna happen in her school."

I laugh at her deduction...she's good.

"Are you..a sleeper agent. I won't be surprise if they train them young."

I asked Solomon to shut up.

"Biological weapon...one of the most unforgivable weapon to be used onto mankind and well all lives in general."

Rika-san's eyes becomes cold when I said that. She puts her arms around me from behind hugging, I can feel her breasts.

"Hooh, so tell me is that what they'll used."

"Yes and no. I have no Idea how it is made or use but I do know that starting tomorrow all hell will break loose. Hell, it had already begun."

Rika-san's pupils shrinks by my word and hugs me tightly to a point of breaking my ribs.

"Where is it...what do you mean it had already begun."

"Look I'm not a terrorist, I'm merely a child somewhat. I have no clue, really what I do know is that your government is keeping it a secret. They know about the viral outbreak that's plaguing the city but guise it as a viral fever. I'm sure you started to suspect is as well right."

"...Can it be cured?"

"No...so far no cure has been made. The origin for this virus is unknown it could be terrorists or it could be an act of god either was a lot of people will die tomorrow and the only thing you can do is to protect your love ones as long as possible."

Rika-san slowly lets me go, her eyes will filled sadness.

"You actually believe me."

Rika-san then laughs.

"Like you said..years of experiences. Your eyes, I can tell you're not lying to me when I look at them.'

I turn to face her and hugs her gently.

"Hmm, you believe me huh....it's been awhile since anyone did that."

"Sounds like you have it rough.....Mari's friends..are they."

"They're dead. Her husband due to the viral outbreak he died from the disease and turn into one of the walking undead. He attack his wife biting her in the process, I tried to safe her but was too late."

"I see...you definitely had it rough...then the husband..you killed him."

"Yes."

"Hey can you do me a favor....can you keep an eye on Mari and in return I'll give you the code to my gun lockers."

"Is that so...thanks, and don't worry I'll keep Shizuka-nee safe. I owe her one."

Rika-san hugs me warmly and smiles.

"And why is that?"

I look at her with warm eyes and smile.

"She was the first person to showed me kindness in a long while."

And the next day I followed Shizuka-sensei to her school....and that's where it begins, all of the works I put in place in preparing myself will soon come to fruition.

An alarm clock blaring loudly and a hand emerges from the bed sheet trying to find the alarm clock. After he pressed the alarm clock, a figure emerges from his bed. A brown colored hair teenager stretches his body and yawn loudly.

He looks at his clock at look exasperated, the boy is none other than the main character for the HotD world Takashi Komuro. He got out of bed and walks towards the table there he see picture frame, he holds it and see 3 people in it, his best friend Hisashi Igou, himself and the woman he loved...Miyamoto Rei.

"*Sigh*.....I don't want to go to school."
