8 Dead Man Walking

*Crash*

My body flew and hits through the wall leaving behind a small hole, my body eventually crashes towards some of the students' desks. There are some students that are still alive as I take a knee. I look around to see there are infected here as well trying to find its new victim. One of the girl in the classroom, saw me and quickly came to my side asking if I'm alright.

"Hey, kid! Are you alright? we have to get out of here it's dangerous here. There a giant monst-"

*Pushi*

I threw a knife that flew passed her left cheek hitting an infected that was about to pounce behind her. Seeing this, the girl kept her mouth quiet and is terrified. Who could blame her? Her friends are being eaten alive, Undead walking around and now she was this close to death.

The girl looks to be 16, a normal high school girl with long black hair and wearing glasses. And looking at her assets I'm guessing C cups.

*Bang*

The two of us quickly turn our head and see the mutated undead standing there growling. The machete I used to cut him is stuck on his right arm.

"KILLER QUEEN!"

*Click*

I press the detonator. Let's get this over with, I need to get to Mari-nee fast.

*BOOM*

The mutated undead exploded and disappeared without a trace. The girl seeing this was amazed, even some of the other students that were struggling for their lives couldn't believe what they saw...a kid killed a giant monster.

[Optional Quest Completed: Defeat The Mutated Zombie. Host received reward points. Host shall receive the accumulative reward after completing the other world's main quests.]

I stand and dust myself off, I soon realize I'm suffering from my injury from that fight. The impact left quite a damage on my body. I think my ribs is broken, fuck I'm having trouble breathing. I fell to my knee, the girl seeing this panic slightly and holds me.

"Hey! Hey are you alright.....I have to get you to the infirmary."

The girl then gave me a piggy back and run out of the class while avoiding the undead. This is embarrassing but it gives me time to heal up a bit.

'Solomon...you there, I want to ask something.'

<Shoot.>

'Can I use the reward point immediately to buy something.'

<....Technically yes but it will decrease the total points once you've completed this world's quest. Also you are unable to receive/buy new powers once you enter a world...but you can buy items.>

'Items.....as in supplies well I guess that's good. I bought all the stuffs I have currently beforehand by using this world's currency and honestly I rather save points than spend it...but desperate times call for desperate measure.'

'Solomon...buy me a health potion or something.'

<Alright.>

While running, the girl didn't stop. She felt that she owe or something nonetheless I'm grateful for her. Solomon hand appear from my back and pass me a red vial...it looks beautiful. I quickly drink it's content and feel the immediate effects. My ribs are mending itself and now I can breathe properly once more.

"Put me down."

Upon hearing this girl girl stop at her trek and looks at me.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

The girl put me down. She looked restless while we ran into an empty corridor on a separate wing few floors away from the infirmary.

"Right about now Takeshi, Rei and Hisashi should be on the roof and Takagi and Hirano should be a floor above...Hopefully this means Saeko will reach Mari-nee in case I can't....Damn!"

"Umm, I'm sorry what were you saying."

The girl look confused as I was having my moment.

"Ahem, my name is Arthur Winchester and you are?"

The girl blinked her eyes multiple time and panic slightly

"Ah, Sakoto my name is Sakoto Chiaki."

She bow as she introduced herself....how funny.

"Right nice to meet you Sakoto-san, thanks for saving me."

She raise her hand and shook her head rapidly.

"No,no it's should be me thanking you. You saved me from one of them and kill that giant monster. Speaking of which, how did you kill him? he just blew up and disappear out of thin air."

I scratch my cheek while smiling wryly.

"Look now it's not the time for that, we need to head to the infirmary to meet up with the others, we're leaving this school if you want you can come with me.

The girl nods her head rapidly without hesitation causing her glasses to slip down her nose.

"Alright, let's move!"

-Meanwhile Elsewhere-

*Shizuka Marikawa's POV*

I'm merely the school nurse...and I'm good with it despite the fact there are time people would call me clumsy. But times like this, I have to be strong.

"ARRRGH"

*Splat*

Teshima-san is currently pushing of one the sick student away from Kyoko-san and I, along side him is the beautiful girl that I saw this morning talking to Arthur, if I'm not mistaken her name is Busujima Saeko. She came into the infirmary when she heard the cry for help.

"Ano! Saeko-san did you see Arthur on your way here!"

*Splat* *Bang*

Busujima-san gracefully dispatched two of the infected with ease. She turns her head looking solemn

"I'm afraid not."

After Teshima-san killed the last infected we have room to breathe.

"What! the kid ain't here yet....he told us to come here."

Teshima-san scratched his head looking sad, Kyoko-san who was whimpering nods at his word.

"What do you mean by that Teshima-san, where's Arthur?"

Teshima looks at me with a serious expression

"Listen well Shizuka-sensei, I'll explain what happened."

I sit along with Kyoko while hugging her to calm her nerves, Busujima-san merely leans on the wall listening in.

And....while I listen to his explanation...my pupils dilates in fear.

-Meanwhile Elsewhere-

*Saya Takagi's POV*

"Hurry up fatty! I don't plan on dying here with up!"

I ran as fast as possible to outrun the infected students behind us. Hirano is currently panting hard trying to keep up with me.

"Hold up, Takagi-san!"

Even after we constructed a DIY handheld nail gun and being a genius that I am in knowing 'their' weakness, we're still being pushed into a corner. Arrrghh where's Komuro when I need him...then again I never expected Hirano to be such a sharpshooter I guess you really can't judge a book by it's cover.

As we ran we eventually went downstairs to head for the main hall and all of a sudden I hear a loud bang in front of us causing Hirano and I to stop in our trek.....our pupils shrink for what we saw.

There's a giant infected coming out the classroom he stumbles forwards then turns to face us. it breathes in heavily and roar at us.

"Hirano!"

I screamed his name and without hesitation he prepare himself to shot down this monster.

"Alright! Stand back!'

The monster charges at us in hunger.

*Pew Pew Pew*

Hirano shot multiple times hitting it in its chest, arm and head...but for some reason it didn't slow down.

"You got to be kidding me!"

Hirano looked terrified by this monster...as it comes closer to us we could literally do nothing as we are frozen in fear, as the monster drew closer and closer to us I suddenly recall my parents' face....ah I miss them..I didn't even said goodbye to them this morning.

Tears slowly stream down my face, Hirano turns and look at me and continue shooting at it. I wanted to ask him to run and leave me but I saw the look on his eyes...he won't abandoned me.

The monster raised both its' arm in an attempt to crush us and all of a sudden....in slow motion...we see a young boy's back appearing out of thin air between us. He leaps and perform a somersault kick knocking it back a bit and while he was somersaulting he took out what appear to be a throwing knife and threw at it.

As the monster stagger from the kick, the boy landed in front of us. He had a serious expression on his face that does not befit a child. He then raise his hand as if he's pushing a detonator. It is Hirano and I heard what it said.

"KILLER QUEEN!"

*Click*

*BOOM*

The monster exploded in front of us...we can feel the heat as the air brush pass us. I fell to my knee confused to what has happen...all I could do is stare at this child's back....our savior. He then turns to face me...ah I think I peed myself a bit. He walks towards us and smile.

"Arrrrthur! Arthur-chan!..*panting* w-wait up how did you run so fast."

Hirano and I turns to see a girl behind us that looks to be our age and wears the same school uniform as us.

"Ah! Takagi-san you're still alive! I'm so glad to see a familiar face."

She immediately leaps at me hugging tightly...eh who is she...I don't remember her before was she in a different class....regardless she seems to be crying while hugging me...ah crap I'm gonna cry soon as well...too late, I couldn't stop crying, this whole thing, this madness is too much for me.

-Meanwhile Elsewhere Few Minutes Prior To Arthur Saving Saya and Hirano-

*Takashi's POV*

"Come on Rei! we're almost out of the wood."

After we escape the roof using the fire hose, we made a break for it. Hisashi....I'm so sorry, may we meet again in another life. I turn back and slam the door leaving behind Hisashi's body on the roof.

"Takashi...wait I think I heard something."

Rei pulled me closer, my arm almost touch her breasts. We see a girl carrying a young boy on her back...I recognized the boy from this morning...what is he doing here? Didn't he caused this...no Hisashi speculated that the boy had nothing to do with this as there's no way a child could infect these many people in a short amount of time on campus. But he said that, we should avoid him as he is also dangerous due to his explosive weapons.

Rei asked Hisashi what if he could get the boy on our side. I remember him smiling and said....he'll be a strong ally with his skills and weapons.

"We're gonna help them Rei!"

Rei nods and understood what I was thinking. We ran after them in order to catch up, hopefully we can get him on our side.

-Meanwhile Elsewhere...-

*Saeko Busujima's POV*

After listening to what Teshima-sensei and Kyoko-sensei explanation on what happen this morning I felt a sense of disbelief the worse one is Shizuka-sensei, she looked sacred and confused and above all else confused.

"Look I don't think we can stay here, It won't be long till those freaks find us we need to get out of here, Shizuka-sensei and Busujima-san we have to leave."

Shizuka-sensei shook her head disapprovingly.

"No I can't leave Arthur, he's just a kid plus I promise my best friend that I'll looked after him."

Kyoko-sensei then stood up in anger.

"Don't be ridiculous Shizuka-sensei that kid is a monster! you didn't see what he did!"

Kyoko-sensei's outburst surprised us all....then again she's the one with most stress pent up inside of her. Teshima-sensei then holds her shoulder asking to calm down...she relaxes and apologize for her outburst. Shizuka-sensei hugs her and nods.

"You're right we should leave...if what you say is trust the Arthur can look after himself, I trust him."

I saw Shizuka-sensei's eyes...and despite what others said about her eyes are filled with conviction. I smile with my eyes close, deep down I would love to meet the boy again as well.

We leave the infirmary after Shizuka-sensei wrote a note for Arthur to read saying 'we're waiting for you at the school's lab near the teacher's office', and I close the door shut behind me.
