20 Darkness Looms In Tokonosu City

-Driver's POV-

The city is on fire, dead bodies litters the street. Abandon buildings and cars are nothing more but remnants a of peaceful time...and to think it was only yesterday.

I've been driving ever since yesterday when the whole world turn to shit, I couldn't get any cigarettes packs while I'm on the road, most of the time those freaks would be in the goddamn store making it impossible for me to grab even a simple water bottle.

*Thud and Banging*

"Alright, alright taisez-vous. Unless you want another beating...damn they don't pay me enough for this job."

I took out a picture from the glove compartment and take a look at it... I see a picture of a young boy no older than 10 or 12, This picture was taken during his escape form Fujimi Academy. If I'm not mistaken that place is overrun as well.

I place cigarette in my mouth and light it up, after puffing a few smoke, I stop the car at the gas station. I got out and and take the fueling pump and place it into the car, as I walk I saw few of those freaks shambling about.

I take my silenced Glock 17 and fire at them avoiding the fuel pumps.

*Pew Pew Pew*

After I shot them dead, I proceed to gather more supplies for my team in the other location...maybe by now they should have Intel on this kid. I enter the gas station to see a few dead bodies...hmm the looters made fine work here.

"Cigarettes...cigarettes ah here they are these little devils."

After grabbing a few packs and other supplies I made my way to the car that when I see trouble.

"Yo,Yo,Yo that is some mighty fine car you got here lady mind giving it to me?"

I felt a knife behind my back, I turn to see a black man with a folding knife.

"Tis tis...didn't your mother tell you it's dangerous to be playing with knives."

The man felt enraged by my words but later calm himself then has a sinister smile on his face.

"Heck you too look mighty fine lady, how about we have some fun then I might consider letting you live."

Hmm...how sweet of him to see me that way, after doing this job for so long I thought no one would find me attractive, alas it's probably the outbreak causing him to feel this way otherwise he wouldn't ask me...ah well c'est la vie.

"The fuck is the hold up? say something you bit-"

As I grab a knife from the back of my waist stabbing his arm...it took awhile for him to scream when he realized he's in pain. He starts crying like a child and begs me to let him go...unfortunately for you my employer prefer that there's no witness.

I took out my gun

*Pew*

I went back to my car to check the fuel gauge, once it's full I left the gas station to deal with my guests in the trunk.

-Few hours later in an unknown location-

"So are you gonna tell me who this child is?...come on..talk."

I crouch down looking at a few students from Fujimi Academy, chances are they might know something.

"Look I know my Japanese is bad..But it is still understandable. Tell me what I want to know and I'll let you live."

Unknown to her, these students were indeed students belonging to Fujimi Academy. They look at each other...these were students part of Shido's group. So they are well aware of the person in that picture.

"Well talk..my patient is wearing thin."

I took out my gun to 'persuade' them to speak...and soon as expected they talked. One of the girls starts to speak.

"I-f..if we talk, will you let us go."

"Why of course I have no interest in you kids...now tell me who this child is and where is he?"

"That...that's Arthur Winchester if I'm not mistaken, he's the kid that initially saved us when we escape Fu-Fujimi Academy. At first we thought he was amazing...then we realized something about him."

"Oh...and what do you mean by that?"

Soon one of the boy spoke up and contribute to the conversation.

"He can use guns and shoot those monster with perfect accuracy and not only that it seem like he have some supernatural powers helping him....I believe..he's some kind of superhero..but..now we see him as a villain."

The group then starts to shiver and for a moment they were afraid of this child more than me.

"What makes you say that?"

"He...he can blow people up with his mind leaving nothing behind...we thought we were imagining it but it's true lady. He can kill people with his mind..that time..in..in the bus. He killed a few of us, some of the students blew up one by one leaving nothing behind."

At first I doubted his words..but for some reason he sounds genuine also this is simply to elaborate for a lie.

"So..where is he now?"

"That...that we don't know, after he killed a few of our friends, he let us go...but if it wasn't for Shizuka-sensei he would have...*gulp* he would have killed us."

I see tears start to swell on her eyes as she spoke...poor child. Then I hear a door open behind me. I see a heavily built man wearing a gas mask and an equally-heavy armor and on him are grenade belt along the waist, a prosthesis for a left leg. What made him even more intimidating is him holding a Mossberg 500 shotgun.

"Did they talk?"

He ask I turn to face him and nod.

"Do we know where our target is?"

"No, they have no idea where he is."

"I see."

The students seeing this felt intimidated by this man..well I'm not surprise. l look towards him and smile.

"Deal with them."

"Aight."

I left the room while he took aim at the students.

"Adios."

Before the students could even scream I hear gunshots from that room.

"Four Eyes..anything to report?"

I look at a young Japanese woman, she's fiddling with the computer and as our scientist on the field she's the number one person to turn to for analysis.

"Did he dealt with them if yes...I like to run test on them to see how far the virus has progress."

I nod at her words. She quickly read through her report.

"From what I have gathered. The virus is constantly changing and yet it is stable at the moment. For now the test is a resounding success. With this, we can show our employer the results."

"And the kid?"

"The kid is a special case, for some reason during the incident in Fujimi Academy. Specter was there to see the giant infected first hand and in his word..he doesn't one to fuck with one alone. But what he saw amazes him. This child is capable of killing the giant infected with a single knife, it seem that the knife has explosive property..,but here's the kicker..normal explosion can deal that much damage without leaving anything behind. But Specter saw the giant infected exploded leaving nothing behind for us to collect."

"Well that coincide with what the students are saying...so how did he do it?"

I look at her and she scratch her head in confusion.

"That..that I'm not sure, which is why after Specter took a picture of him and relayed it to our employer, they have ordered us to take the boy in for questioning."

"To the point they actually raised it to our highest priority despite the city is in ruins."

Soon my earpiece communication starts to vibrate. I press it and hear a familiar voice.

"This is Specter...target has been located, awaiting order."

A man is currently in a sniper position he's wearing a black uniform and is holding a Dragunov sniper rifle. But the most unique features would be his mask, it has an google that can extend and look at a 180 degrees plus it has thermal imaging.

He's currently looking through the scope, he saw the target shooting a man in the head after the little girl went into the house.

"Hold position, we'll make our way to you. If the target moves, inform us."

"Affirmative."

He said it in a cold voice.

I look at Four Eyes as she packs up her equipment and the man with the shotgun walks in looking at me.

"So we finally leaving? if yes I can't wait to get out of this shit hole...it's too cold."

"My my...are you sure it isn't your heart that is cold."

I walk towards the table grabbing my gas mask and equip it. She turn to face her team revealing the logo on her left shoulder.

Umbrella Corporation.

"This is Lupo, calling all Wolfpack. Target has been found, converge at Specter's location at once. We have our order...Search and Capture...the child is capable of range explosive so be aware of it, assume that the child is a dangerous one."

-Arthur's POV-

I'm currently helping Takashi-nii moving the supplies into the car, we need to leave by dawn...I turn to check my surroundings...for some reason I felt I'm being watched.

<Can you sense it?...the blood in the air.>

"Hmm...it seems trouble is coming."
