23 Counter Attack

"So is everyone ready?..do I need to go over the plan?"

I ask them as they're getting ready for the battle ahead. Saya-nee came forward look displease.

"I don't like this plan...it's dangerous."

"I know, but what choice to do I have nee-chan."

"Saya-chan is right...there must be another way."

Mari need grab hold of my hand.

"No..this is how it should be, alright if there's nothing else...we'll make our move."

-Meanwhile Elsewhere-

-Lupo's POV-

"What dislike the idea of killing children?...I saw that young girl over there, should be the same age as your chil-"

I point my gun aiming at his head encouraging him to finish his sentence.

"Enough game, they're moving."

I turn my head to see them packing their stuff, as soon as the Humvee left the vicinity I gave Beltway the green light. Specter go into position holding the detonator if things go south hopefully...the child comes quietly.

We got into our into our vehicle and head to our target location, there Beltway, Bertha and Four Eyes lie waiting for them. We parked our car waiting for them to pass by and when we saw their vehicle, we alerted the team.

When our target vehicle enters our trap zone we sprang our plan into action. Beltway and Bertha ran for the car aiming their gun at their car....I stop at their trek and was baffled when they lowered their weapon.

"They're not here! The car is empty!"

Beltway shout out feeling annoyed. Damn...how did they know, we cover our track perfectly. I use my communicator to contact Specter.

"Specter do you read me, what do you see? over."

"Specter here, no I don't see target anywhere, over."

I hold my chin thinking where he could possibly be...if he is aware of us it made sense that they would change a different path..yet why did the vehicle proceed to....my eyes widen upon realization.

"GET AWAY FROM THE CAR!"

Beltway and Bertha turn to see me shocked but it was to late.

*BOOM*

The explosion cause Beltway and Bertha flying across the street, Four Eyes had to duck to avoid the debris. I cover and duck as well, damn it. We've been had, I should have known the kid is something different.

"Specter do you copy! Specter! Do you see him? the boy must be nearby otherwise the car wouldn't have detonate at a precise time.

Specter is not responding to me causing me to sweat slightly...then I hear my communicator turn static then...I hear something frightening coming from Specter's side.

"Row row..row your boat...gently down the stream...merrily merrily...merrily..merrily...life is but...a dream.....Specter can't come through at the moment it took awhile but I eventually found your man...so...would you like to leave a message."

I clenched my teeth behind my mask...this kid...

"Not bad kid, not bad at all. You had us all fool, so where are your friends?"

"Somewhere safe, by now they should be heading straight to the Takagi Estate where Saya-nee will inform her father about that plane of yours."

My pupils shrunk at his words, I look around to see Vector dragging Beltway...he looks like hell. Four Eyes is tending to Bertha's wound...it seems severe. Shit.

"*Whistle* maybe I should have made the bomb a bit bigger huh. Ahahahahaha."

"You little monster...how did you know about the plane?"

"Resorting to name calling I expected more from a mercenary but then again...you are working for Umbrella Corporation."

"HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS?"

Did Specter talk?....that can't be right, he rather die than divulge information about us. Think...how do I salvage this?

At that time...we never knew..we never knew we had met the Devil until he spoke.

"I can save them...but I want something in return."

"Save them...how?"

"Why...with my power of course."

"They're dying as it is and if you're at Specter's location you won't make it in time."

"In time...ahahahahaha! we'll see about that."

Then I heard a voice speaking behind me. The boy....the boy is actually standing behind me. How did he get here so fast?....he wasn't there a moment ago. I look at the floor to see Specter lying unconscious.

Vector then emerges from invisibility to tackle the boy but I saw something incredible. As he was about to grab him, Vector's arm broke in front of me by an invisible force causing him to crouch down in pain....the boy didn't even look at him at alone touch.

I gulped and try to calm my nerves.

"Tick Tock...your friends are dying better make a decision. Will you listen to me?"

I look around and sigh...this team is basically my second family,I have no choice but to...I quickly pulled out my gun and shot the boy straight at his head.

The boy vanish before my eye and I felt a sharp pain on my back I slowly turn my head to see him smiling evilly behind me I look to see what cause my pain...I see a knife...a knife had pierced my lower back. I fell to my knee, Four Eyes ran to my side but was quickly punch by an invisible force. I look up to see the boy with his arm behind his back casually walks in front of me.

"I wish you hadn't done that, but then again you are loyal...I can respect that. Lately respects are a rare commodity especially on both sides...oh I'm neutral by the way."

I start to lose consciousness due to blood loss.

"What do you want?"

"Ara...now you're actually listening."

The boy then showed me his close hand...he slowly open his hand to reveal a bullet that I shot at him.

"You...you caught the bullet."

Then I felt terror like never before..I've been to many wars but this child...his eyes are pure madness.

"I can....and soooo much more."

*WhisperWhisperWhisper*

Did...he whisper something?

He then raise both of his palm and I start to feel a slight improvement.

"Crazy Diamond."

My wounds starts to heal, and disappear as if it never happen. What the hell? I quickly turn to see him, then he grab hold of my neck chocking and I look into his eyes to see his eyes are vacant of all life.

"I can save a life....and I can easily take it. You tried to kill my friends, now that you know I can heal wounds...so tell me, what do you think? Would I let you die that easy? Now I'm gonna to torture you and your friends so you would give me all the information that I need then I'll heal you and continue the process until all of you break before me...and after I break you...you'll live for my sake and die for my sake...like a good dog."

He's...he's the Devil.
