4 Close Combat Skill

Alexander came back to the group once he cleaned his uniform. Fortunately, the change didn't make his body appearance change drastically, only a little bigger. So when he came back to the group, nobody noticed his change at all.

"Now that Soldier Hartman has come back, we will start running around this field for five laps." Sergeant James said as he started ran.

Alexander was running beside Steve in the most backward position as he didn't want to attract attention this early.

"Hey Alex, why do I feel your body is bigger right now ?" Steve asked while panting.

"Maybe it just your illusion, how can my body suddenly got bigger," Alexander replied.

After 15 minutes of running, Steve already panted like a dog while Alex is still steady. Alexander focused his eyes into Sergeant James and immediately, a bunch of cards popped out.

Alexander shocked when he saw the sheer list of the skill that Sergeant James had. There is 2 Master tier card, which is unexpected as this is the first time he saw one. Not just that, there are over 50 Close Combat-related skill from Elementary to Advanced tier.

Alexander tried to extract the Military Boxing card and found there is a progress bar appeared. According to his estimate, it is going to take at least 10 minutes to be successfully extracted. So he canceled the extraction process. Instead, he just plundered all the skill beside those 2 Master card.

A bunch of invisible light came out from Sergeant James, and it headed to Alexander body. A series of knowledge immediately appeared inside Alexander's head. As he already had an experience before, his face is still straight as he was running too.

After 5 minutes, Alexander felt his entire body changed for another time. Not as big as before, though, but his muscle and various other parts of the body change to adapt different skill that extracted.

If before Alexander can barely control his newly found strength, now he can flawlessly control it. After another 10 minutes, the run finally finished as they stopped at a flag pole with Peggy waited there in a jeep.

"Squad, do you see a flag over there? The first man that bring it to me will get a ride back with Agent Carter." Sergeant James said while he pointed the flag.

"And let me tell you that no one ever got the flag in the last 17 yea..." Before he can finish his sentence, a scene suddenly shocked him.

Alexander approached the flag pole and took a metal cylinder that holds it. The flag pole fall and Alexander took the flag from it and handed it to Sergeant James which he accepted dumbly.

"See you later at the camp, Steve." Alexander patted Steve's shoulder and hopped into the jeep. He looked at Peggy and found she smiled at him. The jeep started to drive away from the group and headed back to the camp.

"You are quite smart, Soldier Hartman. Nobody ever thinks that way in the past 17 years." Peggy started the conversation.

"Well, it's pretty simple actually. And you can call me by just Alex, Agent Carter." Alexander said while he unbuttoned his uniform as it was pretty hot.

"Well then Alex, what's your plan for the future ?" Peggy asked while looked at Alex seriously.

"Hmmm, I didn't know actually. But since I was a soldier now, I will go to the battlefield sooner or later…" Alexander answered honestly. He really didn't have any concrete plan for his future as he was transmigrated here like 4 hour ago.

Then the rest of the journey is silent after Alexander answer. Five minutes later, the jeep arrived at the barrack.

"Rest well for today, Alex. You did a great job." Then the jeep goes away after Alexander goes down.

Alexander smiled as he saw the jeep slowly fade out from his line of sight. Not going to lie, Peggy Carter was truly gorgeous and hot! No wonder even someone like Steve fall in love with her. Her look is essentially the same as in the movie, just more beautiful.

Alexander suddenly felt an impulse to act when Sergeant James told the squad to get the flag. He didn't know why he took the flag as it must be Steve, the one who originally got it.

Initially, Alexander wanted to act low-key until he arrived at the battlefield. But an impulse appeared within him to impress Peggy.

'Sorry, Steve. But I will compensate you later…'

Then Alexander got in the barrack and has a nice shower. Steve and the group arrived 20 min later. As Steve is the smallest person in the group, he was alienated by the group. There were 17 people in total when you counted Alexander and Steve in this group. All the rest basically are the bully Hodge group.

"You better had a shower, Steve. You are stinky right now." Alexander said while dried his hair with a towel.

Steve didn't reply. Instead, he walked directly to the bathroom after getting his towel. At the same time Steve entered the bathroom, Hodge and six other people enter it too. After a while, the sound of someone getting beaten sounded from the bathroom.

Alexander immediately rushed to the bathroom and found Steve was on the floor while surrounded by Hodge and the six guys with his hair pulled by Hodge.

"Hodge, what are you doing ?" Alexander asked loudly.

"Oh looked what we found here, someone wants to be a hero, huh? What can you do with your weak physique anyway ?" Hodge released Steve's hair and approached Alexander.

Alexander suddenly grabbed Hodge hand and slam him into the floor. Since Hodge offered himself, why not take this chance to test the new skill he just acquired?

"Ackkkk, get him!!!" Hodge groaned in pain as he stared the six guys. Immediately, the six guys surrounded Alexander and launched their attack.

Alexander swiftly evaded their attack and launched the counter-attack. In just 10 seconds, all the six guys down. Hodge stared Alexander with fear as he was struggling to get away from Alexander. Unfortunately, the bathroom floor is slippery, so Hodge keeps fall.

"Stop, what do you want ?" Hodge asked as he was getting cornered.

"Just one thing, you should not bother Steve in the following week." Alexander then helps Steve to get up.

"Remember, if I see you bother him, you know what will be the consequence."
