*sigh, so regretful. It started out so good. Had so much potential. But somehow the author saw some stupid need for drama that he cant even write about. The MC is literally a broken mishmash of comedic one track characters from various comedy novels, and he keeps getting worse every chapter. Somehow, despite playing games and having game knowledge, REGARDLESS of how long that was ago, and add the fact that he himself got a bull**** and weird class and skill, this straight up mentally challenged guy can't even imagine the most fucking basic Stealth skill. Like he CANT EVEN IMAGINE A SKILL LIKE THAT EXISTING. Despite acting like a psychotic dont care guy about anything except his one track passion, sometimes he is suddenly some beta japanese cuck for some reason. Like I dont even get what the author is going for lmao. Why ruin such a good story with such retardation? His only reason to live is his passion lmao, why is he so fucking invested in **** that would take literal efforts from him and no gain for him when he could be working to buy other stuff. Last I checked he was the furthest guy from a saint or a beta hero from some japanese novel. All in all, if u have nothing to do and want brain dead entertainment, its pretty good. Unfortunately, I am not in the mood for that kind of IQ lowering stuff.

Randomly found this novel and was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think that there would be such a good concept that hasn’t been milked to death yet. Great novel so far.

A man after my own heart, Jake "Mad Dog" Smithson is one of the best MCs I've ever read about. Discounts are justice, bundles are life! Spoken like a true Shopping Addict, I can absolutely say that these words are the truth. Other than a few minor spelling errors which are likely just mistakes, there is nothing I can find fault with. The Main Character is hilarious, and so are the reactions of the other characters, especially the shop manager and the so-called god of gambling. Plot wise, the story is progressing rather well so far at Chapter 32, and while the world background hasn't been fleshed out that much yet, there are various things that are being revealed to us readers. Found this hidden gem on due to someone recommending it on the forums, and I can say that I'm glad I chanced upon it. There's nothing cliche about this story, so give it a whirl if you're interested in something fresh! Keep up the good work dear author! Looking forward to more! :)

Came to know if this gem from Rxel the author of Curse the Mainframe. This novel is pretty funny and addictive. A unique premise that's definitely fun and plausible. An optimistic main character, he definitely knows what he wants in life and nothings about to get in his way. I highly recommend this novel. It's still pretty new but a decent number of chapters already out and the English quality is great. No complaints here. Read this novel for a good time. You won't regret it

A new twist on video game reincarnation, even in a sea of reincarnation novels, this one stands out to me. The characters are extremely well written and the plot is incredible. Its a comedy but it has its moments of appropriate seriousness. My only complaint is that i’ve run out of chapters to binge!

🤣🤣🤣🤣 This is so funny in a totally different way. Even though the title is not that attractive (at least for me) the content is quite satisfying. The MC is a total shopping addict who have been sent to another world with his addiction as a skill. The funny thing in this story is that although he is the only one with a weard skill he is totally satisfied with it unlike other novels. His driving force for surviving in that new world is his hobby (as long as he can do online shopping with a decent amount of discount he will satisfied) .

Great, Original LN. This is seriously a golden book. It needs LOADS more chapters, and the author literally needs to make this book not free. I suggest using the current draft as free, then upload it to Amazon (after a final layer of editing/tweeking the story the final way you want it - fixing plot holes you didn't notice until later). Also, if you do use amazon, be sure to make it amazon unlimited friendly. Harry potter books are amazon unlimited friendly for the first download. It started good but... When you try to change the MC character after making him coold blooded well it's weird. So maybe read till chapter 18 or so then the quality goes down and the novel don't have anything to offer. Another try by an unknow writer that ends in trash.

Was great at the beginning but quickly dropped in quality. The best joke that works here is the “You aren’t a clown, you’re the whole circus.” This joke is so useful when applied to the Japanese beta MC. He spares enemies who try to kill him and gives away items he buys even though he doesn’t know what’s in the box. He assumes the assassin is Emmanuel who’s skilled in killing even though everyone has been hunting monsters for weeks! The story was enjoyable but quickly makes you get frustrated and lose brain cells. Not recommended by me.

I wish I could buy the books but they are not on Amazon. I got the first one before it was taken off. The main character also needs a female love interest because this shopping addiction is going a little too far.

I picked this up, and have read till the stoppage currently. I really do enjoy this book and hope the author continues to write it. While at times it seems cliche it is a fresh twist on what I am used to and quite honestly, it is what I needed.

Hilarious, full of crack and weirdness. MC literally can give Deadpool run for his money with his trash talk and randoms sh*t he spew during combat. I never hold so much laughter before and I don't regret binges reading this sh*t until the last update. He was actually truly fortunate to got skill that compliments his addiction because with his addiction is that instead of dooming him was giving him FREAKING growth spurts in powers. It's literally broken the balance. He was no hero but he was not really cold unfeeling either. Just because he doesn't give a sh*t outside his addiction doesn't mean he doesn't have morals. People always forget that this is no xianxia where the MC got transported to ancient setting with ancient rules and need to adapt or die. OR the apocalypse setting where it was literally chaos and madness bombed to real life. Most of them is people that come from modern setting with modern mentality and rules. You don't expect them to one day suddenly get okay with killing people with the setting that's actually doesn't need for it's people to kill each other. Just because the morals of people in that world start to get adapted to this new world doesn't mean that some of the thing from their first world is not stuck with them. MC also ALLOWED TO MAKE MISTAKE BECAUSE HE IS HUMAN AND NOT OMNISCIENT. HE CAN'T PREDICTED EVERYTHING. Just because he is powerful than most people doesn't make him perfect in every way with everything going on his way perfectly either. Anyway, one of the thing that I liked in this novel is that the friendship MC has with his friends. And his friend despite knowing his weirdness still stuck to him and loyal. It's not like most MC where their friend are more similar to cannon fooder than second lead or supporting characters. He was actually 3D, and when he show up in the scene he showed up instead of predictable one emotion liners. One thing that's lacking tho is the length of per chapter and also female characters. But I feared that if the author added female it would changes the story into the direction that I wouldn't like, so I am not really fussed up about it either.

The story really is amusing and the MC is also a bit entertaining his own way. Liam really is a good and reliable person. Heck, if this this was BL it eouldn't be bad if the MC would have Liam as his partner. That, and Song could also be a good bonus. The MC then could have a good start of Seme harem if this happened...LOL But yeah, even as not as BL, it still has its own charm. It's just that if you're not interested about an MC who's so gungho about sales and promos this story may not be for you.

Honestly, this novel and Curse the Mainframe are dark horses. Love the MC’s are strong, funny and with a healthy sense of ego but not overmuch that you start to hate them for it. Quite a unique power and love the developments and regular updates!
