20 White Cat

Dramaturgy is not the only one regretting his action, Vincent is also the same. He kicked the man in reflex due to annoyance but forgot to ask where the man hid the right leg.

Leaves with no choice, Vincent kneel down and checked Dramaturgy's pockets for clues.

The man had nothing but a wallet and a set of keys. One of them is without a doubt a key to his car while the others are still a mystery.

Vincent used the car key and rummaged the Dramaturgy's car until he turned the place inside out, but there's still no sign of legs.

Heaving a sigh, he proceeds to leave the parking lot in a hurry. The blaring alarm is getting too loud and has been at it for quite sometimes already so there bound to be someone to check it out.

And Vincent was right...

The moment he comes out from the parking lot, he meets a familiar woman with a pair of magnificent boobs bouncing wildly as she jogs to his direction. Likely drawn by the loud disturbance.

'Ah, she is that kind of girl. The one with great curiosity and amazing at finding trouble.' Vincent said under his breath.

"T-The vampire from earlier! what are you doing here?" Hanekawa asked, rather surprised. There's no fear remained in her eyes. Vincent wondered if she even had fear in the first place.

Vincent glanced sideway, then clicked his tongue as he heard a couple of incoming footsteps. Without minding the Hanekawa dilemma for meeting the scary vampire once again, Vincent plopped her on his shoulder with one hand and jumped atop the nearby building, towards the Dramaturgy apartment.

Using one of Dramaturgy's keys, Vincent managed to go inside the room without destroying the door.

Vincent didn't start rummaging the place right away. He thought about his actions so far and realized that he had become too arrogant due to his vampiric superiority. Treating Dramaturgy as a live target for practice is not a wise move considering his current situation. He just can't resist the urge to use his ability as soon as possible when he saw what Dramaturgy had accomplished with his own.

His thought was interrupted by the struggle of Hanekawa that currently being carried by him just like a sack of potatoes.

Vincent realized that her massive boobs were pressed against his back and he had been gripping her big bum ever since he plucked Hanekawa from the parking lot.

Vincent ignored her yelp as he accidentally squeezed Hanekawa bottom when he put her down to her feet.

When their eyes meet, she had a faint blush on her cheeks, but both of them managed to maintain their cool expression in front of each other.

Expert at poker face. That is what Vincent and Hanekawa think of each other in their heart.

"So, you're not going to freak out again?" Vincent asked with a teasing edge in his voice.

"I... will try, it was also partly my fault to intrude upon your place," Hanekawa replied with a wry smile on her face.

"Ah, don't worry about that, we're just passing through the city for a business."

After today's incident, Vincent had lost all hope to keep her safe. She is a trouble magnet and they are not that close to warrant Vincent's exclusive protection. Unlike Shinobu who is his fiance, Hanekawa and Vincent is technically just a stranger.

He turned to the window and saw Dramaturgy lumbering out from the parking lot, leaving the place in a taxi. Vincent didn't bother to chase after him, he had already obtained what he want. Beside the fridge, Shinobu's right leg was placed on the kitchen table.

"Is he your acquaintance?" She asked from his back.

"You can say so... wait, what is that?" Vincent asked, clearly surprised when he saw a beautiful domesticated cat with a pure silvery-white coat without a tail nestled in Hanekawa embrace.

"Ah, it's a stray cat I picked from the road. He was nearly got run over by a car. I'm glad I was there before it could happen." She said while caressing the cat's soft fur causing it to purr in delight.

"Let me take a look," Vincent said forcefully. He felt something was off with the white cat, but he can't put his finger on it.

"Erm, I don't think... that's a good idea." Hanekawa said, rather hesitant. It's very unlikely that Vincent going to eat the cat, but the way Vincent looks at the cat is quite worrying.

The white cat scolded him with a meow and nestled deeper into the pair of huge haven, bouncing it in the process.

"Ahn, stop it Kuro, that tickles." Hanekawa's laughter spreading inside the room. Her sexy moan and the jiggling of her boobs started to make him uncomfortable in various places, so he focused his attention to retrieve the leg instead, this is what he comes for after all.

Vincent walked to the door, reaching for the handle, but stopped.

He turned to her and said, "I suggest you throw that cat away, Hanekawa."

She expressed her confusion, "Huh, what do you mean? why did I have to throw him away? wait... how did you even know my name?"

He accidentally said her name out loud. In this world, he was supposed not to know her name. So Vincent choose to ignore her question.

"You should be careful. That white cat is not what it appears to be." With that as his final words, Vincent walked out from the room.

"Wait!" Hanekawa chased him through the door but found no one in the hallway, Vincent has already vanished.

Unlike what Hanekawa thought, Vincent hasn't left the apartment for good. He is taking a cover on top of the apartment opposite of the Dramaturgy apartment where Hanekawa stood.

Vincent's attention was on the white cat napping in Hanekawa arms. Observing whether the cat will do anything harmful to her or not.

Even though they're just a stranger, Vincent knew a lot of things about her that she herself might not be aware. The weird feeling of caring for someone you haven't meet is very uncomfortable for Vincent. But he can't bring himself to pretend like he saw nothing.

That's why he was planned to kill the cat and be done with it, but he just didn't have the heart to do it. Even more so considering Hanekawa has taken a liking to it.

Vincent narrowed his eyes at the fog, it was getting thinner by the seconds. He takes a step back and his previous place was illuminated by sunlight.

He checked his watch and it indicates 05:00 pm. It won't be long before the sun takes a nap, so he stayed behind the cover as he observed Hanekawa playing with her supernatural kitty.

If he guessed right, then that white cat without tail might be the one who turned Hanekawa into Black Hanekawa. So, Vincent had to do something because it was not a simple matter.

Vincent was contemplating on what to do with the cat and Hanekawa. But there's only one thing that comes to his mind.

Hanekawa stayed in that apartment thinking about what needs to be done with the cat. The fact that Vincent, a vampire had warned her about the cat implied that it was not an ordinary cat.

Hanekawa tried to remember the legend that had something to do with a white cat and a few legends comes to her mind.

If what legend said is true and she is not mistaken, then nothing will happen to her because it supposed to be non-hostile if not provoked and she just can't bring herself to abandon it either.

So she decided to keep the supernatural cat as her own. Hanekawa embraced the cat close to her and asked with a smile, "Kuro, do you want to be my friend?"

Meow~

"Is that a yes? then from now on, you're my first friend, Kuro." Hanekawa laughed as she played with Kuro's paw.

It was fun to have someone she could interact with and it made her forget the passage of time. By the time she realizes it, the sky has become dark, so she stopped messing around with Kuro and walked towards the elevator, prepared to leave the building.

But she was startled when the Kuro suddenly struggled in her arms. It jumped to the floor and hissed at something behind her.

Hanekawa turned to see what made Kuro so irritated but she was taken aback when she did so.

There, she saw a familiar young man looking at her with a weird expression.

"I guess taking care of a cat is not a bad idea..." Vincent raised the corner of his lips in amusement.

In another building, a man in pink aloha clothes and black sandals watched with a smile as Vincent carried the stunned Hanekawa and the furious cat in each of his arms as he leaped between roofs, into the distance.

With a final puff of his smoke, he followed the vampire.
