Didnt they use this cover art in The Empress's Gigolo? Everyone was like Wtf that cant be Ren Baqian he's supposed to be average looking LOL. It was a funny sh*tstorm until it got changed to it's current cover art of The Empress in black armor instead of her classic red. Anyway was the cover art originally this novels and they used it wrong or is it like a generic handsome guy art they use as a temporary?

MC is just dumb and basically a pussy. If I would read a novel I would definitely read one with an MC with much better character traits than this one.

I think the story is good. And the mc is also good. I would really like to read more of this novel. MC's character portrayal is nice but I hate his poverty.

Nice plot. Read something different after a while. The story is developing in a goob way. The characters are described well but the surrounding should be addressed a bit more. This is a good novel overall. So would love to read more.
