After suffering the greatest catastrophe known to man, denizens of Earth were caught off guard when magical portals appeared bringing vile beasts into the world, signalling the start of the new era. Along with the portal came magical and fantastical races and mankind -desperate for survival- were about to willingly sign a slave contract with them to protect their wellbeing from the beasts. But with misfortune comes opportunities, and 6 months after the portals opened humans had finally adapted to the new environment of the planet and could finally use the mysterious power that had changed their planet forever - Ether! With their new strength they broke off the contract, combatted against the beasts and propelled the world into a new stage and society with many different significant setbacks and events. 70 years later in a poverty stricken area in the richest city on the planet , a small, mentally questionable boy stumbles upon his predestined ticket to greatness in a weird way, but in a way that will make the universe tremble!
