What is hope?
That was a question I always asked myself. What would happen if someone lost all hope?
That was an answer I knew so well. I was shunned by everyone, turned into a hopeless, crazy person. Someone without hope is just a person that would go to the ends of the world, would do anything to get it back, or die trying. When I was on the last step to finally getting my hope back, I fell, betrayed by the world.
I vowed to myself that I would hate these people to the end of my life, even in the next one. However, I knew I wouldn't. I deserved everything they did. I hoped I could find the person that I truly loved through this lifetime.
In the game, I had climb to the pinnacle of my class. A mage. But at the same time, more than that. A god, not quite, but different. An ideology. A person. A life. One that I would do anything to restart. But this was not the game. In the game, I was strong. Too strong. Unable to stop myself, I kept on running. But by running, I left what I really loved behind. I always thought that I would never catch her attention. But I was wrong. I later learnt that she married someone that she never loved. I would do anything to stop her from that. Would she cry when she saw what happened to me on the news? Or would it be like what she had said, and she still hated the tyrant that I had become?
