Prologue

Carrisa's Point of view

It was the year 1856 and I'd arrived on Ebyra Fall. The chief editor of the newspaper company I work in, assigned to explore the history Ebyra Falls and print my fascinating discoveries. Ebyra Fall is one of the most on camera towns in the whole world. The only of it's discoveries, that was ever published on paper was the opening of one of the most promising Shop in England. So I figured the best way to explore it's history, is visiting the town itself. My generations' history predates back to Ebyra Fall, though I have never been, until now. I have family from my mother's side in Ebyra fall, and I plan on staying with them, while I work on my exposition on This town. My grandmother and cousin had welcome me home, happily, and my cousin Mariam offered to show me around the town. She showed me the Tailor shop, The cobbler shop. We walked out of cobbler shop, and I have to say, I am not impressed with what I have seen. The town was too archaic and calm. Most of the things I have seen today is not paper worthy. My eyes flicker around the other shops, close to the cobbler shop. My heart jumped. My lord! I was thrilled to see Abilene Wicker's Lingerie shop. The most promising shop in England. The shop attracted more terrorist than any historical figure could, last year. "is that Abilene Wicker's Lingerie Shop?" I asked mariam, knowing the answer. Mariam turned her attention to across the streets. Her blank expression, quickly went grimace immediately she laid eyes on the shop. "Come. We still have a tour to continue" is she joking me? Abilene Wicker Shop is right before our eyes and she's talking about completing a so far uninteresting tour. "Well our next stop is at Abilene Wicker shop" Mariam pressed her lips together, and looked down for s minute. "You are going with or without me aren't you?" I raised my eyebrow, as in yes. She let out a long sigh. "Well I guess it is going to be a with" Without waiting any further, I grabbed her arm and pulled her.

I opened the door of the Shop, and the customer awareness bell rang. I entered the shop, and-. My lord! It was magnificent. The floor was tiled a cross black and white box. There was mirrors at every edge of the shop. The was a stair leading up to God knows where. Women were communing among themselves. A lady wearing a plain red gown. Her dark hair was perfectly knotted a donut. "Welcome to Abilene Wicker's Lingerie Shop" the lady's voice was calm and soothing. "Please feel free to try on whatever catches you eye" she said, ushering me and Mariam to walk further into the shop. Without waiting for Mariam, I followed the lady. The further I got into the shop, the more thrilling I found it. Lingerie of different styles and color, lined up on hangers. I paused when my I caught a black thin handed lingerie. "Can I try on that one?" I asked. The lady smiled. "of course you can, but remember not everything as it is" Her voice came it in a very low tone, making me feel a small sense of fear. After the lady left me and Mariam, Mariam immediately outburst. "I thought you wanted to explore, not try on dresses?" I grabbed the lingerie from the hanger. "Lingerie" I corrected her. "And I am exploring, this is part of the process" I said walking into the room, I am supposed to try on the Lingerie.

I ran my hand through the lingerie, admiring it's beauty. "very beautiful" a faint voice spoke. My sense heightened, but I banish negative thoughts from my mind, and brought my gaze to the mirror. "b-beau-" the word breezed into my ears, like a quite breeze. I squeezed my eyes shut, and calmed myself down. I ran my hand through the Lingerie one more time, and I finally dropped my hand. a cold gentle skin, narrowed down the back of the Lingerie, like I had done to the lingerie from the front. "b-beauti...ful ca-ri-s..sa" the voice was more sharpened and distorted this time. I yelled higher than I had thought in my mind, but then again my mind went off at the time. The curtain opened, revealing Mariam. "What what!" Mariam yelled. I had reasoned what had happened in my head, and realized how it sounded. I shook my head, and said, "n-nothing" even with what I had said, the way Mariam looked at me. She could tell I was lying, and the way my body was shaking, I could tell I was lying. I bit my lips, at my own thoughts. What had just happen?
