From a young age, she craved the genuine love of a father. However, life plays a cruel game on her when she ends up with a pedophile stepfather and a heartless stepsister. After years of enduring abuse, Abby flees her past life on her twenty-first birthday and starts a new life in a faraway countryside as Stella Peterson. Face To Face

Harold, who happened to be the chief of police shrunk in his seat at Valentino's darkened and lethal gaze. He was supposed to be a symbol of authority in the room. But before Valentino, he felt like a wimp.

Harold had been getting calls nonstop from different NGO heads, concerned citizens, and some of his superiors at the bureau who were interested in the alleged rape and abuse scandal.

If it wasn't for the incriminating information Valentino had against him, he wouldn't have been colluding with the animal. He was certain that Valentino's intent to silence Abigail would attract a lot of attention. But how was he to stop the maniac when the monster had him by the balls?

"Harold, any words from that fool?" Valentino demanded in a blood-curdling tone.

Valentino had in his possession enough incriminating evidence that could destroy Harold. Hence, he developed the habit of addressing Harold as though he was one of his least henchmen.
