Her Birthday Night

Seal excused herself for one minute. She's so tired and she want to take a break. As a waitress, she walk to and fro to get the orders and even clean the tables. The management didn't care if it's someone's birthday. If you want money, there's no birthdays for it.

She took the phone out of her pocket and looked at the messages she received. She got a message from her uncle and auntie greeting her happy birthday. She didn't see them that morning because they have gone to their work. Aside from her guardians and best friend, no one greeted her. It's not new. She must learn to cope with it.

She sighed. She stared at the nothingness that she didn't notice Rowie, her annoying co-worker who is crazy about her, walked near her.

"Hey, miss beautiful. Happy birthday," Rowie said and handed her three roses. Well, she didn't know whether to accept it or not.

Rowie started to work in that cafe just three days ago and Seal didn't know him that much. However, Xiaomi said that Rowie is rich and a womanizer from their school and she warned Seal not to fall on his trap.

'He just want to get inside your panties,' Seal remembered what Xiaomi said. It's as if Seal will like a guy like Rowie.

She looked at Rowie who's smiling sweetly at her. The kind of smile that he must've used in all of his girls. She accepted the flowers knowing that he will never try to give her flowers again. And that's the weird thing about her admirers. After giving her a gift or didn't do anything but look at her, they just vanished or never talk to her.

At first, she found it weird. No man last with her for more that five days. She just get used to it. It made her think that she is a different person and everybody will leave her except for her best friend and guardians. Sooner or later, Rowie will avoid her and will quit working since he's rich enough to work.

"Where's Seal?" a loud familiar voice came from the counter. And she knew who is it. No other than her spoiled bad influence best friend. Thinking of Xiaomi, Seal still find her funny, being a chic girl with loud voice.

"Hey, I'm here. You're gonna start a war again with Yero," Seal calmed her best friend. Yero is the bitchy gal in their school. Typical campuses. Kings and Queen bees.

Xiaomi rolled her eyes before replying to Seal. "Duh, it's her who started it all. If she just accepted the fact that I'm more gorgeous than her and she is just insecure, then we might be best friends for now," Xiaomi defensed. Xiaomi always praises herself. Well, she have the right to. With a sexy body and chic look, she can be a rock star.

Seal sighed and looked at her dear friend. "You're really a war freak, don't you?"

Xiaomi just raised her eyebrows. "Anyway, why are you here? It's too early to invite me for your whereabouts?" Seal asked while checking her wristwatch. Just the right time for lunch break.

"I just want to take you to the mall and buy some gorgeous outfit since we'll be having fun tonight. You deserve an overall makeover. And your shift is ending anyway," Xiaomi said while waiving his hand in dismissal.

Seal checked her watch again and agreed. "Okay. Just wait for me here. I'll just get my things," she excused herself.

After getting all her things, Xiaomi dragged her inside her red Lamborghini. Seal's face crumpled. Her spoiled best friend and her sexy scene stealer car. Seal should be used to Xiaomi and her boastful acts. But sometimes, Seal is the one who felt embarrassed for Xiaomi.

"Really, Xiaomi? We can just commute," Seal said. But knowing Xiaomi, since she got 18, she refused to commute and always ride fancy cars. She even have collection of luxury cars.

"You wanted to be raped? Elders say that if a person is having her birthday, she is also near in danger," Xiaomi said to her. She crease her eyebrows. Why rape of all things?

She just shut her mouth and let Xiaomi invade her life. After a 30 minutes ride, they arrived in a mall. Xiaomi bought her a red body hugging dress as a birthday gift. She also bought heels to be paired to her dress. Then they went to a salon for her makeover. This is not a birthday gift. Xiaomi just treated her like a doll.

They took almost 3 hours of shopping and having makeovers. Seal faced herself in the mirror and her jaw almost dropped at the scene. 'Woah! Is that really me? Or am I just dreaming?'

It's already eight o'clock when they went to Seal's house to say goodbye to her guardians. Even her uncle and auntie are stunned by how Seal looked. She's quite a princess of the family since the couple doesn't have a kid. And as their gift to her, they agreed for her freedom.

Xiaomi and Seal rushed to the Kendo bar to have fun. As they entered the bar, an annoying scene welcomed them. Seal came to bars a few times but she's still not used to the scenes. The suffocating smoke, grinding bodies, blinding lights, drunken people dancing on the dance floor and liberated people making out in every corner of the bar.

And as they passed on a couple (?) who is making out on the way, Seal covered her eyes. Xiaomi looked at her embarrassed friend and rolled her eyes.

"You're not a teen anymore, Sealina Equinox," Xiaomi said mentioning her whole name. Seal flinched upon hearing her name and glared at Xiaomi.

"But it still is inappropriate. Can't they do it in a private place?" Seal said. She can't accept the fact that time flies really fast and everybody can grab their make out partners except for her. Seal just felt like she must not do such reckless things. But she can't explain why.

Xiaomi sometimes asked herself why she had such a kill joy best friend. But before she can say such thing to Seal, her eyes caught handsome images. They're really appealing and hot. She didn't hesitate to approach the seven guys entering the bar. Just like Xiaomi's reaction, the girls in the bar stopped dancing to check out the guys who entered.

Masculine, handsome and very alluring appeal, everyone is drooling over the Song brothers handsomeness. Meanwhile, the five naughty brothers are looking for some human girls to hookup while Landon is too bored to have fun. He's planning to invite his fourth brother to drink but he didn't find him on his side.

'Such a flirt,' Landon told himself thinking that Ocean already found a girl to have fun with. Instead, he went straight to the bar counter and drink.

While everyone was in daze because of the newcomers' handsome faces and strong appeal, Seal felt a familiar presence. She sensed that someone is looking at her. She roamed her eyes but she can't find who it is. She just saw how her best friend flirt with a guy in the counter. One of the guys who came just now. Xiaomi is eager when it comes to boys.

She decided to walk to them but before she interrupt her best friend, a hand caught her arm and dragged her to the dance floor.

"That's a no, no miss. My brother needs a girl to have fun with. And looks like the girl is your friend. She have to do well in flirting with my brother," the guy who dragged her said.

She gave a weird look to the guy who is dancing at her right now. He's one of the guys that entered the bar a few minutes ago. His hair is blonde and he looks like an anime that came out from a manga.

She was so speechless because of anime-faced guy's presence. Something in his presence tells him to 'shut up and just dance'. She can already sense that every girl is throwing deathly glare at her because she's dancing with the guy that they're fantasizing. The anime-faced guy smiled weirdly and something flicker in his eyes.

"Nice moves, miss. But I think, someone is staring. Gonna leave yah here," the anime-faced guy said playfully with matching wink before he vanished in the crowd. And just after that, she saw her best friend almost making out with the brother of anime-faced guy in the counter.

She decided to order some drinks to forget how her best friend looked so happy while making out with the anti-social guy. She's not used to drinking but having deep thoughts make her want to have tequila.

'How does it feel to be kissed?' something inside her asked. He blushed at her own thoughts and drink the shot.

She looked at them with disgust and never noticed that it was already 11:30. She's already dizzy and sleepy. She already felt tired just by dancing and drinking.

She felt suffocated and decided to get out of the bar to have some fresh air. She bumped to random people because her eyesight is swirling. As she was close on the door, someone grabbed her by her waist and brought her in the dark. She felt panicked but something stopped her panic from rising.

She tried to scream but she's already tired to make it. She laid comfortable in the stranger's arms. She didn't know why she felt like this. All that she know is that she can even fall asleep in those arms.

She tried to look at the stranger's face and saw pair of ocean blue orbs shining in the dark. She lifted her hand to touch his face but before she does, she heard his cold voice.

"Happy birthday, my love. You're already mine," the stranger said.

After hearing those words, she felt a pain on the neck. The pain mixed with pleasure. The feeling that make her drunk like an alcohol but taste sweet like chocolate.

Her eyesight swirl. But before she fell to slumber, she heard the bell rang indicating it's the other day.
