1 Count Me In

Seal got up and rubbed her eyes before looking at her blue alarm clock on her bedside table. Time check, it's seven in the morning. Seal is different from any girls. Unlike other city girls, she woke up early everyday. The thing that she learned when she was living with her grandfather.

'This is the last day of me being a 17 years old girl. Tomorrow, I'll be a lady. I should enjoy this day.' She said to herself.

She got up and looked at herself in her old full-length mirror. The mirror itself looks antique but still beautiful. It has flower carvings all over its frame. Her grandfather once said that the flower is a lily. At the top of the mirror, there is a blue pearl that always caught her attention whenever she looks at it. It's a gift from her grandmother before she passed away.

She sighed. In the mirror she can see a beautiful but pathetic girl. Her hair is pure black, she has well chiseled blood-red lips and her natural pink cheeks. She's been wondering who among her parents resembles her face. But all those wonder will never be answered. Her parents are dead. She only lived with her relatives after her grandpa passed away.

Going back at her face, she's a beauty but then, she hated her looks that almost everyone in her whole campus hated her. They hated how her pitch-black eyes look at them. It is as if she's cursed.

'Well, except for Xiaomi,' she thought. Xiaomi is her best friend. She's the opposite of Seal. Xiaomi is lively, impulsive and frank unlike Seal. Some says that she's a bad influence for Seal. But Seal doesn't care what anybody says. Seal doesn't mind. As long as Xiaomi is being true to her, there's nothing to be a problem. And speaking of the witch.

"Hey girl. Want to have fun? You'll be in legal age tonight," her best friend asked in a wicked tone.

"Maybe later. I have work to do," she answered. Her part-time job is to be a waitress in a cafe near their school. She should help her relatives in financial aid since she's still studying and they are paying for her tuition.

"Aww, let's just meet tonight. Let's enjoy your last day being a minor. Ah! I got an idea. How about we drink ourselves tonight?" Xiaomi asked, transforming her sad expression to a happy one.

"Err, fine. Just treat me some drinks. See you later. I'm going to get ready for work," Seal excused.

"Alright. See you later, baby." And the call ended.

She put down her phone in the table and took her towel from the hanger. But before she went to the bathroom, something caught her interest. It wasn't something. It was someone.

She faced the mirror and take a close look at it. From the mirror, she can see a face of a beautiful guy in the same age like her. She didn't know how that face appeared in the mirror. All that she think right now is how captivating the sleeping face of the guy in the mirror.

It was as if she's looking at a Greek God because of the perfect face of the guy. He looks like a prince charming inside the mirror.

Mindlessly, Seal touched the mirror and her hand entered the mirror as if it was a thin air. Out of horror, she took back her hand. Then again, all she can see is her own reflection in the mirror. She wondered what happened.

She shook her head. She must be hallucinating. Maybe because she got too excited to be 18 and legally have a boyfriend. She blushed at the thought.

"I should get ready," she told herself and turn to the bathroom door.

Meanwhile, in the castle of Osiris…

The Song brothers are bonding inside the dining hall. The hall is filled by booming laughter from the men who's talking about their incoming 'out of town trip'. On the other hand, their fourth brother is nowhere to be found.

While Morie, the third son and the brightest Song, is teasing his two youngest twin brothers, Landon and Quintus, their most mysterious brothers namely Pierce and Nyle are talking about something. While Kane, the oldest, is on the other side, playing with a rose in his hand.

"Mom and Dad will here tonight. Good thing that they finished their visit in Juno. We don't have to be tight tonight," Nyle, the second and the most intelligent told his coldest brother, Landon.

"Nah. I know what you're trying to point. Since mom and dad are here, we can also go out and have fun," Landon, the third and the coldest yet charming, said as if he's translating what Nyle just said.

Nyle scratched the back of his neck. He looked at Kane who came back to gracefully eating his meal and not paying attention even if there will be a war in front of him.

'Damn, this food lover brother of mine. Why can't he help me with this ice block brother of us? He will have benefit after all,' Nyle said on the back of his mind.

Knowing Kane, he is silent and so princely but behind those charming face, he's also a beast for fun. Nyle can't burst it out since he's the eldest.

"What are you gossiping over there my dear brothers?" Morie, who is satisfied by his Quintus's red face asked.

"Just planning to have 'fun' this evening since Mom and Dad are going home," Nyle simply answered.

But hearing the word 'fun' brought excitement to the Quintus's and Pierce's eyes that almost forgot how Morie tease them. Another weird thing about them, Pierce and Landon may be twins but Quintus is the one that resembles the youngest the most.

"Really? This evening? We're going to have some 'fun'?" Quintus asked as if he can't digest what Nyle had just said. He's already imagining himself while drinking at the bar with some wild girls bedside him.

"How about Ocean? Isn't he coming with us?" the youngest one asked. Pierre loves to play tricks and pranks with his elder brothers but he's really caring inside.

"I didn't see him today. Maybe he want to skip the bonding for the second time," Kane deducted. Well, they knew their fourth brother. He's not that interested on having fun with the humans and rarely come with them during free time. But even the hideous Ocean can't keep his secrets to the youngest Song.

"Let's not wait for him. He'll come if he wanted to. We have to prepare since Mom and Dad are coming tonight. Got some great lie to escape them?" Quintus asked Nyle. Having wits means that having a great escape plan.

"Of course, brother. I just wrote some scripts on how to trick Mom and Dad to go to the human world," Nyle answered. The five either punched their hand in the air, smirk or scream to express their excitement.

But before the six brothers got up from their seat, the door bombed open.

"Count me in," Ocean said which made his brothers' jaw dropped.
