Ch 1

On a magestic morning with a clear blue sky that sat over a sparkling ocean. The wind bathed the massive the earth below with a calming breeze. Sea birds clawed and dove into the ocean and snatching out large fish to devour or return back to nest to feed their young.

A black haired, skinny pale youth began to stir awake to the smell of...salt water? There was also a a faint smell of blood.

'Seagulls? What the hell? Sand? Is this a beach.... did I die? What is this!'

Suddenly massive mind numbing pain rushed to the mans head. He tightly gripped his head in agony until the pain subsided. Lyonal who everyone called Lyon slowly sat up with a groggy mind that felt like mush and there the mental assult. After a few minutes his mind had finally cleared. he was able to realize he was staring at a massive ocean. Yet, that didn't bother him. What bothered him was all the strange memories flooding his mind.

"Looks like this guy pretty much me in a different dimension and a young teenager, but this 'me' must have met a tragic end somehow."

The memories td the story of the previous Lyonal. He was the 8th son of the prince of the Tifton Empire. He was loved by the people and treated all is family with respect and trust. Something that was frowned upon and many felt he made the family look weak. He absorbed many of the resources but didn't advance much in his martial arts skills.

Even though he was the 8th prince he was currently the 4th in line. Apparently the life of a prince in not very long in the Tifton house.

The former owner of this body had lost one prince brother to "illness" but most likely poisoning. Another to idiotic brother who died in battle chasing war merits. The third died mysteriously traveling. Apparently, a second brother was supposed to die the same way. Apparently, one of the other princes must want him dead as well.

He just didn't know why. The previous him never had any issues and was pretty much a community worker and a good son. His biggest flaw had to be his nativity. He pretty much avoided all signs of danger and confrontation. Some the current Lyon would never do. Whether he wants to be prince or not didn't matter. It mattered to others that could kill him.

Lyon sat for a few moment and filtered his thoughts. Even though memories flooded his brain, he still couldn't filter them to trauma of waking in a new body. He literally was trying to keep his crap together.

Yet, he had no idea who tried to kill him or how he ended up on a beach. The previous Lyon was was knocked over the head and never woke up so the bloody robes makes sense.

He stood shakily and looked around for anything that could help him. Being a office worker in a cubicle his survival instincts were nearly zero and wouldn't help him a lick as a Prince. Hopefully survival shows count for something but Lyonal wouldn't hold his breath.

The world was definitely not a modern one based on how he was dressed and he had a plaque tied around his waist. His memory told him that it is a cultivation world where the strong rule and weakness...well died. The previous him was the main example.

"I have most of my memories but, most are fuzzy. I need to find where I am. I feel like a newborn baby standing in the middle of the beach."

Lyon walked along the beach line. There was an empty satchel type bag on the ground. It was made of very new looking leather and Lyon put it on across his body. It wasnt a large bag but better than nothing.

There was no reason for him to tread inland just yet. It was a dense forest for one thing and he hoped he would run into people by staying on the beach. None of the maps from the previous memories from the last owners showed anything about this place. He walked along the beach hoping to see anyone else but for hours he didn't find anyone. Just the droning caws of seagulls.

After resting and walking for a few more hours he stopped and plopped on the sand frustrated. He had no idea what to do next. He could hear many different animals sounds coming from the forest. Some of them sounding large and powerful. The had to be the vicious beasts native to this world his memories told him. Lyon is lucky the previous Lyonal was really studious.

They are very dangerous and violent. Yet, smart and cunning. The stronger they are the smarter they become, for most species of spirit beast.

"This is going to be suicide!" Lyon began to sweat bullets. He was imagining a large beast with massive claws and fangs devouring him slowly. He was honestly terrified. The previous Lyonal at least knew martial arts enough to defend himself mostly but he was just too weak.

Well the beach seems to be safe for now but he didn't know how long that would last. He also had to worry about food and water soon. He turned to the forest and felt complete trepidation.

In fantasy stories the main character just fearlessly walks into the unknown ready to explore. Sadly reality is much more different. Hearing monster noises pretty much dictates what he does next.

"Rule number one don't die."

Lyon at the very least knew he couldn't stay in the same place for very long, especially unarmed. He quickly jogged along the beach line until the sound began to move in a different direction. It was definitely following him for a time nut must have gotten distracted or found closer prey.

Lyon had to find a place to hide out for the night. The sun began to set on the beach. Lyon realized the beach was massive and would take countless days to explore. He finally found a rock enclosure on the beach that nearly formed a cave entrance.

Lyon crept up to the cave entrance. He found some palm sized rocks along the edges and sprinted away. He cocked back his arms to throw the rock and released it. The rock flew into the cave like a bullet. Lyons mouth was stuck gaping. The rock flew like it was shot out of a rifle. Lyon realized how foolish he had been. He was in the world of cultivation! He remembered he was early body stage cultivator that was still in the Spirit Energy Gathering stage. Far behind his peers in the mid and late Spirit Energy Stabilization stage.

The beast inside of the cave roared loudly before a loud thud and then silence. Lyon was terried and he had a small wet stain in his pants to prove it. He was frozen from fear but no other sounds came from the cave. When he finally gather the strength to finally move after long seconds. He cocked back and threw another rock with his new arm cannon that would give any pro baseball pitcher a lifetime of envy. Yet no sounds came from the cave. He slowly enter the rock enclosure type cave. The smell of blood was intense and had Lyons senses on high alert.

The cave was deeper than it looked from the outside yet close to the entrance was a leopard type of beast with a purple eye and spots all over its body. Yet its dagger like claws and fangs reminded him of a leapord from earth. It was the size of a small horse and had muscles similar to a bulls. It had a massive hole in its eye with brain matter leaking out. The rock somehow went through this monsters weakest spot on its body its eyes and killed it while it slept.

Lyon was able to see because of dim glowing moss that line the top and sides of the cave. Something sparkled in the back of the cave behind a large boulder. Lyon was hypnotized by the strange aura coming from the light.

Suddenly a familiar yet unforgettable voice echoed in Lyons mind. A sound rung and his head that sounded similar to an elevator bell.

[Ding! Hello! Looks like you found your first kill while exploring! You finally met the criteria to hear my wonderful voice!]

The voice sounded robotic and weirdly human at the same time yet it had a certain personality to the making it all the more disturbing. Of course disembodied voice scared the piss out of him.

"AHHHH. The monster got me I'm dead."

Lyon nearly had a heart attack and was hyperventilating.

[Yeah we spoke on your way here being transported here. Those guys must have really done a number on your skull you even forgot me, haha! I know impossible right hahaha!]

This is one of those guys that laughs at his own humorless jokes huh.

[ Now for the serious stuff. You are given two choices of anything in this universe. Your transmigration, not reincarnation, as you thought was botched in your universe and was sent to this one. You can choose nearly anything except more choices and there are limits. You can't ask for invincibility or ask to be a god. It has to be associated with the cultivation world and be with reason on the mortal plane.

What will you decide?

After hours upon hours of pondering Lyon finally figured out what he wanted.

"I want a daily sign in ability that gives the strongest items possible and I want my body to be as close to invincible to all damage, of any kind, as much possible without being fully invincible. Can I do that?"

[You're not as simple as you look ape. It's done. Go forth or whatever and live or die.]

Lyonal ignored the verbal shots from the voice it was after all giving him a potentially a precious gift.

[ You have been give rare gift upon your reincarnation do not squander it. This world is dangerous beyond you imagine.]

The robotic voice began to fade.

"Hey! I have questions about my choices! Wait!"

The voice simply ignored him and continued to faded away.

[You will...not hear from me again...fair well mortal!]

"He really just left me here without telling me anything!" Lyon was rooted on the spot and mouth agape. He was stunned silly.
