Muriel's Throne
All her life, Lady Leticia Muriel was trained to become the wife of the first prince of the Kingdom of Carnelian and become the future queen. Becoming the future queen is the only purpose she had in her life, but when she was suddenly accused of attempting to murder the lover of the first prince, she was instantly stripped off of her title and banished from their kingdom.
But despite the betrayals of the people around her, the only thing that Leticia Muriel could think of is that finally, she was able to free herself from the chains her family imprisoned her in. She could finally do everything she wanted without thinking of possibly tarnishing her family name, and finally, she would be able to travel around the empire, the only dream that kept her sane throughout her life.
After being thrown away to the neighboring kingdom, Leticia Muriel joined a mercenary group in which she met Hugh, a silver-eyed man who helped her take her first step in following her dream. But Hugh, despite introducing himself as a member of the mercenary group, seems to be hiding his real identity, and Leticia Muriel couldn’t help but think that maybe, Hugh was also like her, a fellow noble who was stripped off of his title.
Or maybe, he is someone she couldn’t even imagine meeting her whole life.
