Being born and familial love

Aaron felt like he was in a dark tunnel. Cold yet warm, dark yet comforting.

'Light...?'

Aaron could see a bright, orange and red glow as he got closer and closer to the light, he felt himself getting colder and colder ever so slightly until he was completely bathed in the light.

"Waahhhhhh!"

He could see the faint silhouette of a woman embracing him but his vision was blurred with tears.

Aaron could hear himself crying and swiftly stopped himself to regain sight.

The tears in his eyes were quickly cleared, replacing them with a pure, child-like expression with a concealed profoundness deeply buried underneath his chasmic, dark blue eyes which could now finally see.

"Wow...! Haha! He's beautiful. Thank you Melda for giving birth to our beautiful son."

A rough, bright and charismatic voice belted out with glee, love and intimacy.

Aaron heard the voice and determined it to be his father.

His eyes wandered to where he had heard the voice as his eyes trailed around the room.

It was a large bedroom, decorated with ancient antiques, paintings and gorgeous ornaments.

There was a small fire-place which hosted a roaring red and orange fire which explained the red and orange light he saw when he was born.

Aaron's eyes soon landed on his new father.

He was a tall man, almost 7 ft tall and wasn't in the least bit slender.

He was big and burly, not at all concealing his muscular frame which showed off his strong physical prowess and natural masculine aura.

He also, like Aaron, possed dark blue eyes which Aaron seemed to have inherited.

He had a chiselled face with a well-kept beard and was extremely handsome, exuding a natural charming presence.

Aaron kept on silently staring at his father.

"This one's a curious and quite one, isn't he? I guess I'm going to have to train him well then!"

Aaron's father loudly laughed. His voice contained traces of happiness, longing and love, all mixed together in one.

Aaron could feel something warm slowly budding inside of him.

Aaron had never experienced familial love so he didn't know what it was.

But whatever it was, he knew he was going to treasure and protect it.

"Now, now Kain, calm down, you'll scare him."

A feminine, gentle voice calmly dispelled his excitment.

Aaron looked up to face his mother.

She was beautiful. Extremely beautiful. Almost like a goddess.

No. She was a real goddess.

She had long, silky, golden hair which clung to her face from the sweat she developed during childbirth. Her face was simply perfect and had no signs of blemishes or wrinkles at all.

She had kind crimson-red eyes and had a calm, graceful and elegant temperament which hid a small amount of weird power that surrounded her.

A total contrast of his father's rough, reckless and stubborn temperament.

But perhaps it was this reason that made them each other's soulmate.

"He's a man! He can take it!" Kain belted loudly whilst laughing heartedly.

"Yes, yes, ok Kain. Alice, be a dear and get a warm towel to clean up your little brother please."

Melda said.

"Yes, mother," Alice replied, half-grumpy that her little brother was stealing all the attention away from her and at the same time adoring her new sibling. She had a bright gleam in her red eyes which she had inherited from his mother Melda.

'I have siblings and a family...?' Aaron didn't know how to feel. Confused, happy?

Aaron never had a family and was abandoned on the streets by them so he was kind of hesitant against having a family but at the same time, he felt happy and warm inside.

'Oh well, let's see how it'll go.'
