For the Mia family, time was going by quite slow. Luckily for them, for the past days they have been pretty occupied to get ready for a real masquerade party. This party was assembled to celebrate the youngest child of the Vasilios family's birthday. That night, he would be turning 25 years old.

Finishing up her very light makeup, Sasuko examines her piece of art. "Not going to lie, this came out better than I expected! See? Not much! It's almost looks like you have no makeup on at all!"

"Mm, I suppose I'll give you some credits for this one." A dark brown haired female said as she looked at herself in the mirror. Smiling, she turned her dark brown gaze to Sasuko and stands up, hugging her tightly. "Now, this better not be a waste of a night."

"Pff-" Hugging her back, Sasuko dramatically rolls her eyes playfully. "Oh trust me on this one, Sam, you are going to have a splendid night tonight. Besides, I already have a date in mind for you if he goes. I mean, of course he'll go!"

"Wait, whoever said I wanted a date??"

" Me-"

"Wooow."

"Sam, look. You are my best friend, no you are like a sister to me! I would never do something to you that I know you would later hate for, okay? Seriously, trust me! He is such a loyal sweetheart. You'll love him!"

"Whatever you say, shortie."

"I- mmmph- I'm not that short!! You're only like.. three inches taller than me-"

"Exactly."

Backing up a few steps, Sasuko gave her a small smile before finishing up with her own hair, humming lightly. Sam just simply sat back down, lightly sighing as she reached out for her phone.

Some hours have passed as the family arrived to their destination. Stepping in, they were immediately greeted by the other guests that were invited to the party. Smiling lightly and giving them their greetings, Sasuko lead her best friend away from the family towards another rather small group of people. Within that group consisted of the Tsunatsu family - Leonardo Tsunatsu and his wife Rosa Tsunatsu along with their two children Leon Tsunatsu and Xie Tsunatsu -. Leon was the oldest child of the family and the CEO to the family's corporation. Noticing the girls arrival, Rosa smiles happily as she gives Sasuko a quick hug.

"Why it is a pleasure to see you here, dear!" Rosa exclaimed as she backed up from the Heiress. "Now.. who might this be?" She asked, looking towards Sam.

Sasuko smiles warmly as she lightly hooks an arm with Sam's. "This is my number one closest friend, Sam Alkhire."

"Why, how lovely! I'm Rosa Tsunatsu. It's pleasure to meet you, Ms. Alkhire. This is my husband Leonardo, and our children, Leon and Xie."

Smiling small but respectfully, Sam replies: "It's a pleasure to meet you all."

Smiling small, Rosa lightly waves a hand. "Well, since it looks like everyone has arrived, I'll leave you two. Make sure to have fun!" And with that, she left off to greet the other guests with her husband, leaving Sasuko and Sam with Leon and Xie.
