1 The restart begins now.

Max was sleeping in his university lesson like usual, all of his classmates and lecturers were used to the scene happening in front of them, Max was notorious in the university for two things. The first is that he didn't care about his lessons at all and was only attending them so that he would still have access to his families wealth and still be able to use their name to get whatever or whoever he wanted.

The second reason plays into the first, it was well known that he would use his money and family backing to get any woman he wanted. Celebrity, which one? Press, what station's female reporters are untapped? He infamously slept with the mayor's wife causing the mayor to stand down and slump into a deep depression that caused the cities' economy to temporally collapse. It is fair to say that Max at the age of 20 has done nothing but fuck up the lives of anyone he comes into contact with however that was set to change today, the Gods have given him one last chance to redeem himself.

Max was awoken by a sound ringing in his head, the voice that repeated through out his head was mechanical in nature.

*Greetings master, I'm the redemption system and I'm here to get your life back on track! Your way of life will be changing drastically whether you want it too or not, you may have as many woman as you desire however you must put the system's requests before your own desires or you will die a very painful death. The system is being installed with features that will save you in the months to come as well as prepare you for the life your family wants you to live.*

"Brilliant, something else that tries to control my life, do I gain anything from listening to you or will just punish me until I listen to you like everyone else. I refuse to be pushed around again especially by something that is siding with that stupid family of mine, I'm glad to be the fourth in the succession line, that means people will just leave me alone as I'm not important enough to try to bribe or coerce" Max knew whatever he would say would fall on deaf ears, he was surprised when the system actually responded to what he had said.

*Unfortunately master the system knows that the only way to motivate you to do anything is too threaten to take away everything you have as stated however you will gain rewards for doing as we ask as well as generally improving as a person as we go, there will be 3 types of quests that you can complete, the first will be main quests that are not skip able and refusal to do them will bring you dire consequences, the second are side quests that will offer you extra rewards for completing them and the final one is hidden quests, the rewards for completing these are substantially better than any other quest however the system can't tell how do these quests except you need to start taking your life seriously. Master you have until the end of this lecture before the first quest is issued, I hope you use this time wisely.*

Max looked around his classroom and looked up at the board, the business questions that were on it were too hard for him to answer so he moved towards one of the smartest people he knew, her name was Elizabeth and she was he ex-fiancee, she had long flowing red hair and a beautiful long body, her assets were the right size for Max's preferences however to the surprise of everyone who had heard the news, it was Max who broke off their engagement, his reason for this was unknown to anyone but himself. He did deeply love Elizabeth however it was the love shared between friends who had known each other for their entire lives not romantic love, he did indeed feel lust towards her however she was the one girl Max refused to touch in anyway whats so ever, much to surprise of those who knew of his exploits.

Elizabeth despised Max for breaking off the engagement, she had held feelings for him since they were little, she felt betrayed by his actions and had hardly spoken too him since. When she saw him approaching her she let out a sigh of disgust before turning to him and saying" What do you want from me? Is it not enough that you publicly embarrass me in front of the city by breaking off our engagement at the engagement party? Do you know what I went through being the fiancee of a men that slept with anything that moved except for you? This better be quick, what is it that you want?"

Max looked at her with a bitter smile on his face and said" I'm not going to apologise for doing you a favour, I just wanted to let you know that this is my last day in university as I will be asking my dad to let me leave the family business and live in another city, just thought you would like to hear it from me instead of someone else. I'm going home now, tell the next lecturer that I'm dropping out of university, I bet they will throw a party, speak too you when I see you next."

As Max was preparing to leave a system notification went off in his head it read as..

*Your first mission is to leave university and leave the Gordon family before the end of the week. Rewards: Shooting proficiency and 3x Lottery tickets. Failure: Will result in 3 assassination attempts on your life.*

Before Elizabeth could say anything Max had already left the building, shaking his head at the thoughts of the system. He decided it was time to leave this city behind and make his way somewhere else. Elizabeth tried to chase after him but before she could catch up, he was already making his way to his car in the car park, his car of choice? A flashy sports car that would attract anyone's attention as it drove by them on the streets, not practical for the son of a mafia lord however that didn't matter for Max as he was never the centre of attention unless he was in the headlines for sleeping with the wrong woman.

As he was making his way towards his fathers estate he began to plan how he would make the changes to his life that he needed to succeed in the family business, as his car pulled into the estate he was stopped at the gate by his father's bodyguards, they looked at him in disgust which Max just laughed at before saying" You have 2 minutes to let me in or my father will be hearing about this as well as your wives."

Both guards became enraged and planned to teach Max a lesson like they did most days however to their shock Max got out of the car and sucker punched one of them in the jaw, as soon as he hit the ground Max walked over to him and picked up his gun before shooting in the leg, shattering his knee cap, he then turned to look at the one remaining guard before saying" You can't shoot me because of who my father is however I can kill you and you will be replaced by tomorrow, I'm done playing the fool, from now on when you see me you will kiss my shoes or you will end up like you friend here."

As the words left his mouth he pulled the trigger on the pistol in his hand and shot the bodyguard in the head leaving him dead on the floor, he then motioned towards the gate and the bodyguard shakily opened the gate. He got back into his car and drove up to the front of the house, he left his car outside as he didn't plan to stay long.

He walked towards the room of his only loyal follower, Serina, she often worked as Max's bodyguard and was the only person in this city he trusted with his life, in fact the only one he trusted at all. He walked into the room while Serina was changing, her large breasts hanging out of her shirt and her plump ass was directly in Max's line of sight. She turned around quickly with a gun in hand causing her long brown hair to become messy.

Max ignored this and said" I wanted to thank you for everything you have done for me while I was a part of this family, as of today I will be removing myself from the family and leaving the city all together, I wish you the best going forwards." He then turned around and walked into the main dining room and sat down opposite his father.

This caused his older brother John to become enraged at his lack of respect towards the leader of the family, he went towards Max and said through gritted teeth" Your constant disrespect for our families traditions will be your downfall, if I see you here tomorrow I will beat you myself." Max smiled at this and closed the remaining distance between the two before quickly smacking him in the side of the head with the pistol he had on him, when John hit the floor, Max started to kick him in the stomach before landing a blow on his head, leaving him in a bloody mess on the floor.

Max then looked at his father and threw the gun onto the floor next too him before saying"Consider this me leaving the family for good, I killed one of your bodyguards at the gate, quite easy to be honest I suggest you get someone a little bit stronger, if a useless young master like me can waltz in here anyway. I'm going to take my car and any personal money I have left, the money I took from the family is hidden in the wall in my room, goodbye father, say goodbye to John for me if he ever wakes up."

"Well, well, look who's finally grown a backbone,I look forward to seeing what becomes of you Max however you are exiled from the family and this city, you have until tomorrow until I put a hit out on you, I hope you get out alive and find a way to challenge me for the family, I will see you either at my grave or yours. Good look my son, I expect good results from you, you will take Serina with you otherwise we will execute her as she is a known associate of an exile, Goodbye son."

Max laughed and left the room, he walked back into Serina's room and said" You can come with me or die here, I would like someone I can trust on my journey however the final choice is yours, it is your life after all."

Serina moved towards Max and lightly kissed him on his lips and said" I would like to follow you master to the ends of the planet, I love you, I have protected you from death more times than I can count, you must have known why, you are the famous playboy after all."

Max smiled and kissed her passionately, not letting her breathe for nearly 5 minutes, he stopped himself from going further however and just said" I knew that you loved me however you are too close to me for me to simply sleep with you and leave you in the morning. I'm happy to pursue a relationship with you if you accept that you will not be the only one in a relationship with me, I promise to love you equally compared to my other potential women."

Serina nodded her head and quickly packed a suitcase as fast as she could, she knew that the family would put a hit on them as soon as soon as the sun rose, Max helped her gather her things and then they left the manor to see his brother being taken away in an ambulance, Max laughed loudly at this before saying" There will be a time when this family is lying in the dirt that you helped create, if you try to look for me for help I will put a bullet in between your eyes, a hit works both ways. Serina lets go." They both entered Max's car and drove off towards their destination, one of the few cities the Gordon family has no influence, Amstelhem.
