31 Chapter 27: Scripturient's Writers Ceremony (part 1)

"Want to become one of the best Scripturient's League Writers?"

A deep narrated voice is heard from the big screen. The sound of fireworks and the blue and purple neon laser stage lights hit all around the areas as the big screen of the Scripturient's League logo appears with sleek animation and a short clip montage of their writers.

"Want to be part of them? or simply.."

"God, the opening of the Scripturient's League gave me goosebumps already," Sasori said as she hugged herself, her eyes fixed on the screen. Her eyes gleamed with so much inspiration, watching what was projected on the big screen.

"You want to be known by the world of how godly you can write?"

I only smiled at her and looked back to the big screen. I know how she felt, the message from the writers earlier is inspiring already.

"Level Up your skills as you joined the Scripturient's League's Competition and events where you compete with other talented writers" and a short clip of a figure where the figure is wearing a red and black motif with a red big dragon hoodie icon on its back.

and the screen went black.

"Welcome, Scripturient Writers!" a female voice echoed inside the stadium

A sudden cheer is heard as a figure appeared from the stage, it's Karyle, smiling and waving to all of us The Scripturient's League Writers. "How are you all? Was writing burnout you already? Have you all finished your entries?"

"I would like to apologize for the sudden notifications we have sent to you. From the hotel, writing your plots with your team to here is probably exhausting but worry not the competition would continue and the Scripturient's League have a gift surprise you all, Scripturient Writers"

All writers uproar, excitement enveloped them.

"You might wonder what would be the gift but you'll later know after this but first, I'd like you to meet the two writers from the legendary rank and high rank. "Karyle said as the neon flat-cube shape teleportation glows and appears two figures. "Both of them win and level last year's event and became the legendary and high-rank writers"

The uproar earlier is now loud than ever as the two figures appear as

a black-haired girl, wearing a hoodie with a lion animal icon and a milky-blonde-haired guy with an icon of Tyrannosaurus Rex standing on the stage.

Both of them looked around as the fireworks blasted from the sky and the blue and purple neon laser stage lights hit all around the areas of the stadium, they waved and smile.

What would be the feeling of being a legendary or a high-rank writer, a big shot writer?

When will I ever feel that love and so much support?

I shake my head with those thoughts and looked at the two writers.

"Scripturient Writers, we would all like to meet you the two writers from legendary and high-rank. To protect the names of the author and writers as what was stated on the terms and conditions under the Scripturient's League, we would only be mentioning their pen names. Meet Fierylexander and Shan XiaoLee"

Fierylexander? The writer who wrote, "The Sovereign Dragon Warrior Arises?" The popular book that I've read with such smooth narration? The real Fierylexander in flesh?

"Hello, everyone!" Shan XiaoLee said with a smile. "I'm Shan XiaoLee, the author behind "Ready, Set, I'm the Heroine".

I'd like to thank Karyle and the rest of the Scripturient's League Editor for giving me the opportunity to be here in today's ceremony and to share my inspiring message to all of you writers"

"Heyyy, my beloved supporters and all the Scripturient Writers." Fierylexander said and waved. "I'm Fierylexander. You probably all know about me since I made it to the Top 10 Scripturient Fantasy Male Writers last year and became one of the legendary rank writers, the Team Tyrannosaurus Rex. I'd like to express my gratitude from the Scripturient's League and to my supporters and of course my team!"

And the uproar of the side where the legendary writers were seated.

"I'm so glad you accepted our invitation to be part of the 5th Scripturient's League Writers Ceremony. Were both of you, busy?" Karyle asked. On the big screen, Shan XiaoLee and Fierylexander nodded.

"Yeah, I'm busy with my plots and upcoming novels and thank you for giving me the opportunity to joined in this ceremony. It's truly an honor."

"I'm busy, sharpening my skills" Fierylexander replied to Karyle.

"So, can you tell us your experience of being a writer here in the Scripturient's League? Shan XiaoLee go first"

"Firstly, I thought that I'm not talented enough. I would sit in my chair, in front of my computer, and stare at my computer. I still remember that it took me months to finished a storyline and when I saw Scripturient's League, my self-confidence went lower than ever but I was encouraged by my boyfriend that I just have to write and eventually, I see how godly and how creative I am. He is right and here I am." Shan XiaoLee said with a smile as she narrated everything.

"I don't have much quiet supporters that time but I keep writing but of course, not half-baked chapters. Just trying to reach the best quality of writing. I often got criticism from other writers of how I write, a lot of grammatical errors and just simply boring plots but I didn't stop"

"I just gave myself some time to reflect and thought to still write but do you ever got the feeling of not having the best chapter? That's what I felt. Writing a chapter with poor quality of narration really made my mood go lower than ever and then, I met a reader. She is my first reader. So basically, that reader saved me and gave me a boost to write more. " Karyle smiled as Shan XiaoLee said that.

"Although I still have problems of grammatical errors, she stays. She stays for the reason of my talent. She is the first person who told me that the reason why she stayed is because of my talent. How talented I can create a world. A world where she can relate to my main character."

"I mean, you feel happy whenever a reader just straightly said that without sugarcoating anything. A reader who just supports on every book that you have wrote. My readers were the best part of my writing journey here in Scripturient's League.

"That's so nice" Fierylexander commented with a smile. "I mean, I'm very detailed to my writing. If I see an error, I just blow up but you are so carefree, writing yours and got so many readers who supported you"

Shan XiaoLee smiled on Fierylexander's comment.

"So, about the competitions and events as you level up in the Scripturient's League. What did you feel about it?" Karyle asked.

"I feel a lot of pressure. It made me think that it would be too impossible for me to level up for the reason that all writers were talented just like Fierylexander" Shan XiaoLee said as she looked at Fierylexander.

Fierylexander laughed, "What? No, I'm not talented. I just write whatever ideas come in my mind"

As I listened to Shan XiaoLee's experience, I see myself in her. What she has said reflects on me as if she knew what I am inside.
