Ch 7: Killing without a second thought

Chase says looking at Allyson being the one to kill this female enemy while the one pointing her sword and the other with a broken arm was too busy to pay attention to their comrade being attacked from behind.

"I see you haven't got yourself killed or captured, I give you credit for it."

Allyson said letting go of the body to fall to the ground focusing now on the female who hasn't come to be harmed yet moving slowly towards her and ignoring the other.

"Hold it right there you move any further and the male is done for." the female said thinking it will work.

"Go on then, he not important to me or anyone else here."

"Alright, I take back what I said about you, I hope you die," Chase says, pissed off at the time.

The enemy at this moment was dealing with a problematic situation keeping the male at his place and having to face her enemy who was coming closer with each step.

Thankfully her comrade didn't stay useless for long when taking back her sword stabbed into the ground going for an attack from behind Allyson.

Of course, that girl hadn't brought her guard down all the way expecting such an attack, she quickly moved to the side as the strike was a downward slash that hit the ground.

Allyson made her move given it was her turn now using the small knife impaling it into the enemy's neck and dragging it across to open the neck to spill out big amounts of blood.

She then snatches the sword while the enemy falls back bleeding to death on the ground.

"Now it's just you now, so what is it going to be?" Allyson said in a tone that would make anyone shake a little.

Chase saw the cold killer look she was giving to the enemy still pointing her sword at him but wasn't paying attention right now being a great opening to make a move. He charged at the female, grabbing using all his strength in his body to bring her down to the ground and taking away the sword, turning it around to place the blade part at the neck.

"Good now, end her," Allyson tells him.

"Wait what."

"Didn't you hear, I said to kill her now."

Chase looked at her then at the female he was on top of with the sword placed against the throat. Staring at this person it is not hard to tell that she doesn't want to die and that he is not a killer.

"No." a single word that came out of his mouth.

"I am sorry, what did you say?"

"I said no there isn't a point to killing her given she was beaten and the others are dead, no reason for another life to be taken."

Chase gets off the female, allowing her now to stand while he walks up to Allyson's sword still in hand.

"Come on let's just…" before he can say any more words Allyson runs past him.

She headed for the female who just got up from the ground having now felt a sword enter her stomach and out to the back. Allyson stayed that way for a bit until taking the sword back out of the body of the enemy, letting the body fall forward flat to the ground dead.

"What the fuck there wasn't a reason to kill her."

Chase, upset, walked towards her but stopped when the sword was at his throat as he now came face to face with the girl.

"Listen, here we are at war and I am not going to allow an enemy to get away free by your words male."

"So you're going to kill me now?"

"I have no reason to kill you unless given a reason for one, so I warn you not to do that."

Chase didn't say a word yet back, but looked at the sword in his hand, a weapon that can be used at this moment. Allyson notices that and was ready if this guy decided to attack yet it doesn't happen as he does say something.

"Fine, what do we do now?"

"We start seeking somewhere to stay for the rest of this night."

"That might not be an easy thing to do."

"Well it has to be done, but first I need to know if I am not going to make the mistake of allowing you to carry that sword."

Allyson brings up seeking to know now before it becomes later that she learns.

"If you think that I will use it on you when your back is turned then no, I won't if it makes you feel better, you can have the damn sword."

Chase hands the sword over to Allyson as she looks at it for a minute thinking and then saying something.

"Keep it close to you, don't need you losing it, you hear me."

"Loud and clear."

Allyson turned her back to him and started walking in a forward direction Chase didn't move just yet staring at the person that he was letting and she killed without a second thought.

"I am not on the same planet."

[An hour later]

"This will have to do for the night."

Allyson says as she and Chase look upon a cave the two somehow found in their search for a place to rest the night.

"Yeah this could be a good place, but do you think it's safe to sleep in?"

"No I don't, but we are not going to keep on moving to look somewhere else this will have to do."

"If you say so." Chase accepted it as the two of them walked and entered the cave.

They didn't go into the cave too deep, just stayed at the entrance where the two took to leaning against the wall opposite each other as both were making eye contact.

Neither had anything to say or want to say in this cave, but Chase couldn't deal with it and chose to be the one speaking first.

"Look, this silence is awkward, so I'm just going to break it and ask where the hell I am."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean this world is not like my own given what I witness this far that shouldn't be as it is. Starting with how I am being treated for being a male."

Chase brought that up because he would like to know the reason for it as it would be good and useful to know.

"If you don't know then you must be living off somewhere that kept a male like you out of what was going on."

"I haven't and stop calling me male my name is Chase and start calling me that."

"You telling me to call you by name isn't going to happen, do you understand that fool?"

Chase started to see this talk was losing its main focus and so he came up with an idea that brings it back.

"Alright here it goes I am a human being from a planet called earth, I don't know how it works for me to end up here after being struck by lightning on top of an abandoned building."

"Are you telling me you are not from this world, is that what you are saying?"

"Yes, don't you get it since our two meetings."

Allyson thought about this male before her and has been quite different compared to the males here in this world.

"Say for now that I believe you, what exactly do you want to know about this world?"

"For starters, you can tell me about this world that I am in, then it would be great to learn about it."

"If that's what you want, I'll tell you what I know so far."

Finally, something was going his way as he got some answers from this girl.

"Then let me tell you about the War Between the Women and Men."
