2 Chapter 5 (Worried Sister)

"Hi, System, can you tell me a little more details about..." Before Alex could finish speaking, the view in front of him start to change, and he appears inside some room filled with darkness.

But before he can figure out what this place exactly is, Alex felt a sharp pain inside his head. "Ahh! What was that?" Asked Alex feeling a throbbing pain in his head. Feeling pain, Alex grabbed his head instinctively. After some time, the pain starts to lessen.

"System, What is this place?" Asked Alex, still holding his head, trying not to concentrate on the pain he is feeling.

[Ding! Right now, the user is inside the secret system space. Here you can access your inventory along with all other system functions until the people of Earth become a part of the Ascension System.]

After Alex's body disappears from Trial Land.

A light flashes in Alex's room, then with a loud 'thud' sound, Alex got throw onto his bed. Unfortunately, he falls at the edge of the bed, and before long, he is on the ground holding his head while groaning.

The voice of him falling is heard by Ava, who was in the room right beside his.

'What is he doing?' But then she heard Alex's pained voice, "Ahh!!" Hearing Alex scream, Ava got worried and quickly come out of her room. No matter what happened between them, she was still his sister, so what if they don't get along anymore.

After coming to Alex's room's door, she didn't directly enter; instead asked while knocking on the door, "Alex! are you okay. I heard some voice's coming out of your room."

Saying this, Ava waited for Alex's reply, but after a few moments of silence, she once again knocked on the door and asked. "Alex! Is everything fine?"

Once again, silence descends as there was no reply. 'So, he is ignoring me again... But what if something did happen to him. *sigh* It's been this long, I still can't help but worry about him.'

Thinking this, Ava opened the door. When that door opened, she saw Alex on the floor with a pained expression; he seemed to have passed out. At first, Ava was a little surprised seeing him on the floor. Walking toward him, she sits beside Alex's body (which is on the floor) and pokes his cheeks while asking. "Alex! Alex!"

'Did something happen to him?' Ava quickly checked Alex's body condition. But she found nothing wrong with his body. "Alex, wake up. If you didn't answer me right now, I'm going to tell dad about the last summer incident."

After getting no response from Alex even after saying that, Ava starts worrying a little.

Last summer, Alex was taken to the police station, although she didn't know the exact details of the situation. She knew that if Barton (Alex and her dad) find out that Alex went to the police station for some reason, Alex will surely be in trouble.

As for the reason why Alex would get into trouble, unknown.

In reality, that day, a murder took place right in front of Alex's store. He was taken to the police station because he was the one who found the dead body early in the morning while opening his store.

But Ava doesn't know this. She thinks that he did something wrong; that is why she said that.

After a few moments pass, Ava grew more worried. 'He is breathing normally, and there is no visible wound on his body. What exactly happened in the past 2 minutes.' It seems like the 24 hours Alex spends in the Trial land, only a few seconds have passed in the real world.

Looking around Alex's room, Ava saw a water bottle beside his bed. After picking the water bottle, Ava threw some water on Alex's face trying to wake him up. But even now, Alex didn't show any signs of waking up.

'Did he get injured by some mental attack?' As this thought cross Ava's mind, she quickly runs out of Alex's room with a worried face.

While Alex himself right now is inside a dark space looking at his status. Since Earth hasn't been a part of the Ascension System, this is the only place where he can access his system.

Alex is one of the seven Chosen of Earth. Due to which he was access to some information about the Ascension System. Right now, he is looking through the information that is available to him.

"So this is how this thing works!..... Interesting!..... Is this true?..... How can this be....." Alex keeps mumbling to himself; as he reads the information provided by the system.

After the six chosen and he completes all the quests in the Trial land. All humans on Earth will teleport to Ancestor Ground.

After entering the Ancestor Ground, they will have a lot of time to themselves. But after about 3-5 years, the real struggle will begin. Because humans aren't the only ones trying to become a part of the Ascension System, there will be many more Races.

Although Alex isn't sure about the numbers, there will be more than a Trillion Race's trying to become a part of the Ascension System.

But only half of these races will be allowed to become a part of the Ascension System. The losing races will be sent to their home planets if someone from these races survives until the end of the trial.

The race which becomes a part of the Ascension; will be given a low-level World containing one of the four energies Mana, Ki, Spiritual Qi, or Bloodline.

When a Race enters Ancestor Ground, that race will have one of the four (Mana, Ki, Spiritual Qi, or Bloodline) as their source energy. Source energy is the energy a race will be able to absorb.

Seeing this information, Alex doesn't want humans' source energy to be bloodline. Because if Humans source energy is Mana, Ki, or Spiritual Qi, Alex will be the only human who can absorb Bloodline energy. That will make him more powerful than any other human.

The most important thing, the Low-level World they will have after passing the test of the Ascension System in Ancestor Ground, will be shared with some other races.

And because this low-level World will be under the Ascension System administration, it wouldn't be destroyed. And there are many other benefits of a world under Ascension System administration.

Alex's first and final goal is to help humanity reach this Low-level world, that all. After that....., he doesn't dare to think about it because, for some reason, he left that this matter is much more complex.

So he left all that at the back of his mind. and exit the system space. When he wakes up, he found himself on the floor, and his head hurt a little. "So, this is the reason why I felt that pain." Mumbling to himself, Alex walks out of his room. He didn't notice anything strange in his room because he is thinking about the ability he gained after awakening his Bloodline.

Blood Spirit is a useful ability that lets him change his personality, along with gaining a terrifying battle sense. He can become Hero from Zero in a matter of seconds. And this ability of his didn't have any limit. He can always keep his ability active without a worry.

After coming out of his room, Alex walks toward the bathroom, which is right next to the stairs. He wants to wash his face because when he wakes up, he notices his whole face was sweaty. But that was just the water Ava used, trying to wake him up; Alex didn't know this. He assumed it was sweat.

A few moments after, he entered the bathroom; both his parents with his sister walked toward his room with a worried expression. When they entered his room, they saw that he wasn't even in his room.

"Mom, Dad, he was here just a moment ago. I don't know where he went while I was calling you both." Said Ava while trying to tell her parents that this wasn't some joke.

But then Alex and Ava's mother Mai said, "Look dear, I know that both of you don't get along well. But you shouldn't play pranks like saying something happens to Alex." Barton also nodded his head, indicating that he also agrees with his wife.

While when Ava heard what her mother said and also seeing her father nod his head didn't know what to do because she wasn't lying to them at all. "But mom, he was unconscious a few moments ago, and it seems like he experienced some mental attack."

"Enough! Ava, your brother, isn't weak enough to get knocked out from a mental attack. And hasn't I told you many time's when you had those fights, he was facing side effects of one of the families...." Before Barton can finish speaking, they heard a coming from the room's door.

"What are you all doing in my room, Mom, Dad, eh! even sis is here."
