Chapter 11 (Mutants 2)

A few minutes ago.

About half a kilometer away from Alex's store. "Ben! are you sure this is the place." Asked a teenage girl while walking inside a deserted house. "From the way this place looks, I am sure no one would be willing to live here, much less a group of wanted Mutants."

"Rookie! you can't call me by my name. And yes, this is a perfect place for wanted Mutants to hide. There isn't a single house nearby, and there is only a connivance store half a kilometer away from here. From what I know, this house owner died years ago; in a car incident.

Since then, no one came to live in this house. But recently some people's has reported supernatural activities happening in this place. Or more precisely, the road at the back of this house.

If someone passes by the road at night, they lose consciousness or disappear for a few days. I am sure this is Billy's work. So, they should be living around here." Explained Ben while scanning the house with a strange device while looks like a mobile.

"But Ben, that's your thoughts; you don't have evidence to back them up." Complained the girl as she enters the deserted house. Ben ignore her complaints and keep scanning the house with a strange device.

Suddenly the device in his hand starts flowing in silver light. "See, I told you. There is a Genome in the air, which indicates that a Mutant was in this place 2-3 days ago. Activate your ability and scan the surroundings." Said Ben, while putting the Genome scanner away.

"But I am not allowed to use to ability unless the situation calls for it." As she said that, a silver-colored light comes out of the girl's forehead and shot toward the sky.

"Eh, I got their location; they are at T point 565301, N point 565275, and N point 565279.3. Ben, hurry!!, they are about to attack..." But before she finishes speaking, she fainted.

"Gwen!!" Ben quickly moved and caught her while mumbling, "You did great now leave the rest to me." Carefully laying her on the floor, Ben activated his ability. Many small particles of golden colors start emitting from his body; as he whispers in a low voice.

"Force Teleportation!"

Back to Alex's store, "I think there no need to waste time anymore. Ral come out; we have to capture him quickly." James said that; a man in black clothes appears in front of Alex.

But before the man can tough him, golden color particles appear around him, and he disappears. The same thing happens to both James and Billy, as they also disappear along with the man in black clothes.

'What...what just happen.' Before Alex can figure out what is happening, the door opens, and two men entered the store. "Hi! Alex, nice to meet you face to face," Called out one of the men.

"Eh, who might you be?" Asked Alex absentmindedly. He is still trying to figure out what exactly is happening. "It's me, Jone, the real estate agent; we talked on the phone about the store."

Listening to the man(Jone), Alex open his mouth to say something, but ultimately he didn't say a thing. He already figured out what exactly was happening. 'How the hell, I got mixed with some mutants. Thank God! Someone with a teleportation ability teleported them away from here.

Was James also a mutant? It doesn't matter if James was a Mutant or not. Have to get out of here. Otherwise, I might get caught in a fight between Mutants.' Thinking to himself, Alex looks toward Jone while saying, "OH, but weren't you coming at 11:00 am."

"Well, that's true, but Sir Alfred here got somewhat excited after reading the description of your store, Alex," Jone explained.

Hearing his explanation, Alex nods his head. Yesterday when he was discussing with him(Jone) how he wanted to handle the paperwork. It was weird beacuse, after some time, he once again called Alex changing the time fo their meeting.

At that time, Alex didn't find anything suspicious, but now it seems like the one who called him later was a mutant. Perhaps he/she hacked him, or the real estate company servers, because this, was the only possible explanation for this situation.

He/she heard all the discussions between him and Jone at that time.

Although he doesn't know what exactly they were planning, it wasn't anything good.

"Sir, would you like me to show you around the store. After that, we can discuss the price." Shoving everything that just took place in the back of his mind, Alex spoke while smiling.

After showing them the whole store, Alex asked, "So what do you think, Mister Alfred." At this Alfred, merely smiled; and stayed quiet. Just as Alex started getting impatient, Alfred finally spoke, "Well, it's better than what I was expecting. Tell me how much you want for it."

At this question, Alex immediately replied, "1.9M, and I want all money the moment I sign the papers. Jone! you have all the papers right."

"What!!" Alfred asked in a shocked tone, "Are you sure; you only want 1.9M for the store. I am sure anyone will be willing to buy it for 2-2.1M." Even Jone got surprised by the price, Alex is willing to sell the store.

"Yes, I am selling it for 1.9M, but if Mister Fred wants, you can give me more money." Said Alex while smiling a little. Although he acted like this, Alex knows that he wasn't willing to pay more than 2M.

"Don't joke like that; I am not rich. If I am saving 100k, then why would I give it away." As Alex suspected, Alfred wasn't willing to pay anything more than 2M for the store.

"Alex, here are the papers as you requested, now you have to sign, and Sir Alfred has to pay 1.9. Sir Alfred will also be paying for all the expenses of both paperwork and the agency." Saying this, Jone handed the papers to Alex.

Reading the papers, Alex didn't hesitate and signed them. Seeing this, Alfred took out his mobile and started transferring money to Alex's bank account.
