1 Reincarnation

It is the year 2420 and the virtual reality technology has advanced by leaps and bound. The first big jump in the vr tech happened in 2403 when Rosette Avison made a huge discovery. She found a new way to connect a human brain with a computer. This way it was possible to simulate the senses of humans up to 40%. This tech was named Deep Connection or DC tech for short. She quickly patented her invention and founded a huge firm that's on top of the business world to this day, and it is called the Deep Sea Technology.

This finding made the world go upside down. Because AI hadn't advanced that much people still had to go to work, for example customer service and truck driving. But with this new tech those jobs could now be done from your own home. Almost every job was now done by robots that were controlled by humans.

As of now there are 9 billion humans on our planet. That is why mega, no, giga cities were formed housing millions of humans each. People didn't really go outside that much anymore so cities stayd clean and the terrible disasters that climate change would have brought along were avoided.

This is why people longed for entertainment, not from outside, but from inside their homes.

As you might already guess, entertainment industries started making some big waves because of this. They started making movies where you were able to be IN the scene, smell the scene and feel the scene. Coders were now in the highest demand ever, with the best of them even making nine figure salaries. Movie theaters went out of business, and so did many other similar entertainment industries.

Now games that depict reality were in the making, but with the limitation of AI, true games with really interactive NPC were not possible, or so everybody thought.

That is where I come in. The new genius after Rosette Avison, Coly Raschke. By the age of thirteen I had made a game that changed the way that people thought about AI. I had made a game that had NPC who were so real that they were thought to be real humans in disguise. But sadly my life was short lived. From birth I had a very weak body. Because my family was somewhat rich they were able to get me help. Sadly I wasn't allowed to take a surgery, because it was believed that my body couldn't take it and I would die amidst the operation. I died of heart attack on my 15th birthday…

Or so I thought.

Here I was with the memory of my past life looking at a calendar with the year 2320 written on top of it.

A genius from the future had been transmigrated to the past with his memory intact.

Okay back to the present. I looked up and saw a beautiful face of a woman, smiling at me with a loving gaze. She has a dark brown hair, brown eyes and a perfectly shaped face. I have to assume that she is my mother. Behind her was a man looking at me with a silly smile plastered all over his face. He has a lanky figure with unkempt blond hair and hazel eyes, and he must be my father.

From the slightly moist eyes of my mother I could see myself. A little baby with with brown hair and hazel eyes, which I directly inherited from my parents. I tilted my baby head a little bit to the right, once again seeing the calendar showing the same year that I had just moments ago observed.

'Even though this doesn't make any sense, I must have been reincarnated.'

As I finished my thoughts, an overwhelming sense of drowsiness came over me. Little by little I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
