3 Day before U.A Exam

They're both 15 in this chapter

"Coyote"(I swear not every chapter will start with his name.)

A soft whisper woke me up and I knew who it was. Since I knew who it was made me turn to the opposite side of my bed towards the window. I heard footsteps then move around the bed and I heard them stop right in front of the window.

The sliding of the windows made me shoot my eyes open only to close them when light pierced my eyes blinding me. Holding up my hands to block the light I peek through and stare at an older Sakuma who was now glaring down on me

Her hair now reached just below her shoulders and she had lost most of her baby fat from her younger days and her features more defined. she had also grown mature for her age and had definitely grown into a beautiful young lady.

The most obvious change was the wings of light that rested on her back that had formed when her quirk manifested. Hīrā(Healer) was the name of her quirk she could heal a person of almost all wounds as long as she had light in her wings. Any healing she does consumes the light of her wings and they completely disappear when she can't heal any longer. The max amount of people she could heal fully seemed to be three people.

They had tested this when Sakuma had been able to get an internship at a hospital because of her quirk and she had even been offered a scholarship by a college designed for people with healing quirks to get into the medical industry. Sakuma had declined and Coyote had asked why and she gave him a rare look of Seriousness.

"I can do more good if I'm there when they are injured instead of waiting for them to be brought to me. That's why I want to be a hero the number one Healer Hero Hope!."

Hope, that was going to be her hero name she had told him. She was going to bring hope to as many people as she could. He thought it silly but then again he was the strongest person on this planet.

Starrk had finally gotten access to his full array of Arrancar ability including his Cero, Sonido and finally was able to master Bala. Of course he was most proud of his Cero Coyote was known to be able to charge ceros without a 'Fighting pose'(Things like pointing you finger or holding out your tongue) He could fire a Cero from anywhere on his body and he could do it without having to be looking in that direction.

"Coyote cmon you can be lazy any day but not today the Entrance Exams tomorrow and I want to get last-minute training in I may be a healer but I am also a dangerous fighter"

Towards the end of her sentence, she had started doing random fighting poses and mock karate chops. Smirking at her antics Starrk threw his sheets to the side shocking Sakuma as she thought they would have to fight to get him up. Looking at her he smirked at her gaping expression he got up and he looked down on Sakuma.

(Coyote is 187cm tall or as tall as Choji

Sakuma is 173cm or as tall as Momo)

"Your Dangerous when I'm not lazy we can agree on that now get out so I can change and go get breakfast made before we train I'm starving"

With a pouting expression, Sakuma walked out of the room looking around I had to admire the apartment we lived in. After a while, I was able to find a job working at the docks moving boxes. With that, I had saved enough money to move out of the orphanage and move out on my own.

I remember Sakuma looked the worse the day I had mentioned it to Saki I wanted to move out. I admit I laughed pretty hard when I had told her she was coming with me and that the apartment had two rooms.

When I came out my thoughts I was already dressed in a plain white hoodie and pants and I was already at the door of my room. Yawning I pushed the door out and I walked to the living room. Sitting at the dining table I watched the now cooking Sakuma working on breakfast.

'A hero huh'

I would be honest in saying that I could care less about being a hero or a villain I could easily be number one no matter what side I joined. I looked down at the back of my left hand where a tattoo of the number one was. This was where I had stored my Zanpakuto Los Lobos seeing as I would not be taken kindly if I carried a sword around. I realized that the sword was made of reishi so I just converted the reishi into the tattoo.

(I know this isn't how it works but just work with me.)

I was the most powerful man on the planet that was for sure but to be honest I didn't really have any goals I could care less about the storyline. I didn't have a goal until Sakuma mentioned her dream to me to be the number one Healer Hero. Me and Sakuma had grown close during the time at the orphanage we were like true-blood siblings and we had made a promise to never leave the other behind no matter what. This is why I decided my goal was to help Sakuma as much as possible I was given a new life for unknown reasons but I did know I was going to spend this life doing what I wanted.

The sound of a plate being set brought me out of my thoughts and I looked to see Sakuma had finished breakfast and had my plate in front of me. Looking up to her I could see her giving me a worried look.

"You okay Starrk? You look very thoughtful"

"Yeah I was just thinking whether or not I should bring a head-pillow to U.A or not"

Sakuma's head lowered so her eyes were covered by shadows. Ignoring her I brought the first bite of my breakfast to my mouth and went to take a bite. If I wasn't interrupted by a slap to my head making me drop my spoon.

"You bastard I was worried for you and that's all I get I should leave for you to fend for yourself."

Rubbing the back of my head I glared Sakuma one thing I hated was Sakumas picking up of Sakis 'Disciplining methods' She even swung the same way which scared me the most.

"Damn you, woman, I'm fine I was thinking about the Entrance Exam now go get your breakfast and leave me alone."

Huffing she walked back into the kitchen and grabbed her plate and brought it into the dining area and sat across me.

"You better not take long I want to get more combat training since you forced me to learn how to fight you at least have to teach me."

I remember I had forced her to choose a weapon to learn to fight I wanted her to choose a sword but Sakuma had a huge fear of hurting people so she was reluctant to choose a weapon in the first place. I eventually convinced her to choose a staff since I said that it would be her best chance at a non-lethal weapon.

It was definitely hard to train a person in using a staff when you used a sword but I had skipped a lot of napping time to watch videos and do some research I was able to be an adequate trainer. Finishing the last of my food I looked to see Sakuma halfway done with her food.

Pushing myself up I began walking to the front door of the apartment only looking back when I'm halfway through the door.

"I'll be at the usual spot I'll grab your training gear on the way"

With that, a blue hue surrounded my legs and I disappeared in a sound of static.(Sonido)

Sakuma P.O.V

'Damn Starrk and his stupid cool quirk I have to walk all the way there'

Although I thought that I was happy Starrk had a cool Quirk. He may be lazy but I know he's super strong he plays off his quirk but it might be just as good as All Mights ! Finishing the last of my breakfast I start cleaning while lost in my thoughts.

Starrk was like an older brother even if we were the same age. He might sleep all day but I know he's always aware of whats going on around him. I know he can sense when I'm about to hit him but he just lets me do it anyway. In a way, I think he just lets me have fun that way.

He is pretty lazy but I know he can actually be super serious he doesn't know I watched him stay up all night learning about staffs just so he could teach me how to fight. I may not like learning to fight and I was mad he wanted me to learn but I know he's just looking out for me.

Having finished the dishes I began putting on my shoes. Walking out the door I began walking towards the apartment complexes entrance.

'Now that I think about ever since that day at the orphanage me and starrk had been inseparable since that day under the tree I was so scared of Starrk rejecting me'

Smiling to myself as I walked on the trees I stopped on the sidewalk to view a large building on top of a hill it was U.A the 1# hero school in the country and the start of my dream.

Dreams I wonder with Starrks dream is? I remember when I had told him mine I had asked him what his dream was he just gave me a bored look.

'My dream is to see your dream come true, if that's done then I find somewhere to take good naps '

That's wasn't a dream she had kept asking but he would just say something vague it was one of two things he avoided talking about. The second being his Quirk he had it registered as a simple energy quirk that allowed him to fire it off or strengthen his body. That was all he told people but Sakuma knew better and that there was something off about his quirk.

My thoughts came to an end when I realized I was at the outskirts of town that now turned into a forest I began walking through the trees until I had arrived in a clearing. In The clearing sat starrk in his normal clothes except now in his hand now sat a wooden katana that starrk always had during training.

Starrk was looking at me with a critical eye before he looked to where a duffel bag sat on the opposite side of a clearing.

"Your training clothes and staff are in there I'll wait behind the tree for you to change"

With that, I watched as Starrk walked off to the side and behind the tree giving me privacy. (As any respectable man should)

Normal P.O.V

A wooden pole met a wooden sword in a clash bored Blue-Gray eyes met fierce Navy Blue eyes. Sakuma had changed into a grey t-shirt and white sweat pants for her training gear.

"Cmon Starrk at least like your breaking a sweat."

Although Sakuma complained she still attempted to hit Starrk multiple times and never once lost her fierce expression. She brought the pole above her and went for an overhead strike. Starrk seeing this stepped to the side and pivoted on his heel putting him behind the still swinging Sakuma. Sakuma quickly turned around and trusted the staff toward Starrk.

"Too slow"

With slow precision Starrk stepped to the side grabbed the staff and pulled the staff and Sakuma close to him bringing his sword above his head Starrk brought it. Sakuma closed her eyes ready for the hit and braced herself for the pain. When nothing came she opened her eyes only to see the butt of the katana over her forehead before she had time to react Starrk hit her with the but.

Starrk could only watch as she crouched down and held her forehead. She then looked up and glared at Starrk with teary eyes.

"Why'd you wait till I opened my eyes that really hurt"

Starrk couldn't help but give her a small smirk in return which just made her glare harder.

"Let's do this one more time you can do the countdown after I-"

"321 GO "

As soon as she said that she picked up the staff and thrust it at Starrk whos eyes widened for a second before going back down. Grabbing the tip of the staff Starrk brushed it off to the side. When he saw Sakuma's fist coming he didn't think anything of it that is until she opened her and threw dirt at Starrks eyes.

Starrk closed his eyes on reflex so he wasn't able to react in time when Sauma brought her staff and hit the side of his head. Starrk was sent to the ground with his left hand still trying to get the dirt out of his eyes. Sakuma stared in shock before she go began rushing to the crumpled Starrk with tears in her eyes.

"STARRK!"

Starrk had finally gotten the rest of the dirt out of his eyes so he opened them and he had when he did he was about to speak when he was thrown back into the ground when Sakuma had thrown herself on him and was hugging him tighter.

"Im sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry Im sorry "

The girl was now trembling while constantly repeating apologies and Starrk couldn't help but sigh. This had been a problem he had noticed early on in their spars. Sakuma hated the notion of hurting another human being. He thought it had something to do with her parent's death she never wanted someone to through what she did. She thought that if she hurt people she would make someone feel like she had and that scared her.

Starrk couldn't think of anything to do to help her and he was frustrated by that. It's like watching a family member slowly die and not being able to do anything. Starrk slowly put his arms around the girl and hugged her closer.

"Listen it's alright I'm fine you didn't hurt me I used my Hierro protected me"

At the sound of his voice, Sakuma looked up and found a perfectly fine Starrk looking down on her seeing this Sakuma got off of Starrk and started to wipe her tears.

"Hierro?"

"Yeah, I condense my energy so my skin hardens I'm fine see? you could have hit me a thousand times and ill still be fine"

Sakuma nodded and wiped the last of her tears away although she tried to hide it Starrk saw that Sakuma was still shaken. Starrk sighed before he got up and wiped the dirt off his clothes.

"Let's go back home it's getting late and we need to get up early for the entrance exam."

Starrk had kneeled down onto the ground and presented his back to Sakuma. Sakuma seeing this walked over and sat atop starrk and wrapped her legs around his back. Starrk stood up and picked up her staff and threw it into the bag.

"Starrk?"

"What is it?"

"You'll never leave me right?"

"Yeah if I did it you would be lonely and loneliness is one of the most painful things ever go through."

Sakuma had leaned over starrks back to look into his eyes and for once starrk didn't look bored he looked more...

'Sad?'

"So to answer your question fully the only thing that will take us apart is death."

Starrk felt Sakuma stiffen at his words and he hoped she wouldn't cry right now. Though instead of crying Sakuma tightened her arms around his neck.

"Then I better get super strong so no villain can take me out."

With that he felt Sakuma rest her head on his shoulder and he looked over to find her sleeping.

"Even if your the weakest person in the world I would still protect you with my life."

Thinking that Sakuma was asleep Starrk didn't notice the small smirk that formed on Sakuma's face as he walked back home.
