7 Chapter 5

"Isn't this house a bit too small for us? There are like only three bedrooms." Laurel said as came down from upstairs, she's right, it's like the house was made for only a family of three or four, how are we even supposed to fit in here?

The house looked good enough, it had a warm and cosy feeling when you enter it, there's a second floor leading towards three bedrooms and an empty room.

The living room was large enough to fit three families, and damn, the kitchen was the most lovely part, foods were already stored in the fridge and the pantry, there were even chips.

"Wait, when did Lady Irene and Alpha said are we going to start school?" Hourn asked as he came out from the kitchen holding a bag of lay's, Lionel and Henessi went and unpacked some things while the others still explored the house, I must say, I admire the location, in the backyard, over the fences is a forest so it gave me a bit comfort.

"How we gunna divide the room?" Lionel asked as he finished arranging the bags, we shared a luggage so it was pretty easy for us, "How about on the first room, me, Jade, Henessi and Laurel will stay, since it has two beds, for the second room, Hourn and Cade will stay there, while on the last room will be Lionel and Heath."

So now that the rooms are now assigned, Lionel and I went to our rooms and unpacked our luggage, there was only one bed so that means we would have to share.

Before we could do anything else, someone knocked on the door, we both looked to see who it was, the door opened only to see Garreth, "Levi said he'll be preparing dinner, so be down in like." He paused to looked down on his watch and resumed, "Twenty minutes, I guess?" He said and shrugged before leaving.

Missions like this were normal for me, to be sent somewhere and do missions like these, but to think that it would be a necromancer type, it would be a pain in the ass, it adds the fact that whoever that person is could copy us and have the same strength at seventy percent.

"Hey Lionel?" I called out.

"Yeah?" He replied as he placed his folded clothes in the closet.

"Since you have more experiences with intellect type abilities, how do you think can we repel a necromancer?"

He paused for a moment and looked at me, "We can't repel a necromancer or even nullify their minions, although they have weaknesses, they have a limit in summoning minions, sure, necromancers are formidable fighters in the battlefield, it's like a one man army, but ofcourse, the have weaknesses like others."

"Then, for an esper like you, how many minions can you take?"

"It depends on the strength placed on the minion that is summoned, they can summon just one minion but be as strong as Lady Irene or even your alpha, but we still don't know if the said person is capable of doing that since we still haven't even met that person yet."

Soon after that, we decided to head into the dining area, where we saw the others setting the table as Levi and Hourn cooked, both Laurelle and Cade is in the couch watching the TV.

"Fake." Said Cade as he pointed at the television, I walked closer to see what they were watching only to see Cade criticizing this movie with a bad CGI.

I guess that was pretty normal for Hourn's mate.

"Vampires aren't like that, even if you put then under the sun for a month, they would only get darker skins." said Laurelle.

"Let the movie be, it's how they pictured vampires, some even think werewolves only shift during full moon." Lionel replied as he plopped down in the couch beside the two, "And besides, the vampire king from the gathering last time ate a whole bunch of plate of bread with garlic." I added to which Lionel nodded at.

"Oh crap, I lost." I heard Henessi say from the other couch as he held his phone, he was playing an online game with Garreth, "One more game, I have to retrieve my points." Garreth said and they started playing once again.

I've been worrying since we got in the van, we can never know what will happen in the middle of this mission, sure it would seem easy, catch the person who's causing trouble in the school, go back to the pack house and report, but no.

As Henessi said when we were in the pack lounge, the necromancer we were facing were suspected as a species from elves, and elves are highly skilled when it comes to archery, but we could never assume what this person could do.

And this was happening in a high school, so we would need to be more careful, it's not like paranormal creatures are hidden from the world, but causing more trouble would definitely favor the person we are trying to capture.

"Hey, I'm going to the convenience store, can anyone tag along with me?" Henessi said as he placed his phone down the coffee table, "I'm going to buy some extra necessities to stock." He added.

"I'll go." Laurelle said and stood up from the couch to stretch.

"Just be quick, dinner is almost ready, but please buy me oil and garlic, we just got here and we're almost running out already." Levi sighed as he flipped the food in the pan while Hourn made mashed potatoes.

"Alright, we're off then." Said Henessi as they went out of the house, leaving the others on their own world while I just sat in the couch as I rot and die.
