14 Big brother - 1

A small boy around 12 who was wearing armor with Reinstle empire symbol engraved on it was watching this scene. Today his best friend Crown prince Arthur and he specifically came to this jungle for hunting a heavenly beast. A few days ago, they got to know that a heavenly beast is eating hunters who went inside the jungle for hunting so they both decided to kill that beast. After coming to the jungle, they both got separated from each other and went in different directions for hunting the beast but here he was instead of meeting with the beast he met with a little girl crying very hard.

A little girl of 8 years sitting under the shade of a tree crying desperately. Her curly locks were sticking to her fair and plump face. The girl was looking very adorable while crying. She was so cute that it tugged the heartstrings of little Vladis, and he decided to help her out.

"I can find the beast after helping her and even if cannot find the beast Arthur will do the work." With this thought in his mind, he went toward the little girl and stopped at a distance.

"Hey sweetie! Why are you crying? Care to tell me why you are all alone in this dangerous forest" little Vladis spoke sweetly. The little girl stopped crying after listening to the word sweetie but when she saw that a strange boy was standing in front of him, she started crying again. Little Vladis was lost for words. He had asked sweetly. But here she was crying again.

"Hey sweetie! Are you lost? If you are lost, I Can take you to your parents. Tell me your name little girl" The little girl stopped crying after she felt no harm from the boy and thus started sobbing and hiccupping.

"Here. Take this candy and eat it" little Vladis offered.

The girl was suspicious and hesitated after seeing the candy. Her big brother had told her to not take anything from strangers. After seeing his calm and sweet smile the little girl took the candy and ate it. She was hungry and the candy was so sweet and tasty that as soon as she swallowed the candy it melted inside her mouth only leaving a caramel taste. After eating one candy she looked towards the boy. Her eyes were glittering after crying so much and her expression was I-LIKED-THIS-CANDY-HAVE-YOU-GOT-MORE?

Little Vladis chuckled and shook his head in denial. The little girl's face fell instantly.

"Okay don't be sad. I will give you a big box of this candy after I send you to your parents. Now tell me who you are and how did you end up here?"

"I am Camila Taylor and everyone in my house calls me Camy. Me and my sister Ceci came to the forest to catch a wild puppy to gift it to our big brother on his birthday. My big brother is very strong, and he once mentioned to father that he wants to go to the forest to catch a wild dog and we heard the conversation, so we decided to catch a wild puppy to him but.... but." she started crying again.

"Don't cry. Don't cry I am here. Tell me what happened next." He wiped away the tears from little Camy's face with his sleeve and patted her head lovingly. The girl stopped crying and said, "We came to this jungle and started searching for it and after half an hour of searching we finally saw a little dog but before we could catch him, we saw a huge beast standing in front of us. We became terrified so we started running and it started chasing us. We tried our best to escape and fight him but to no avail and thus we ran with our whole might. We ran as quickly as we could and luckily the beast could not catch us, so he started going wild and started attacking. During his attack, we both tried to dodge but soon he threw a tree in our direction due to which we got separated from each other and we ran in a different direction and we both got lost in the forest" After explaining her story she again cried.

Little Vladis consoled her "Don't worry. I will help you find your sister. Now come on stand up and stop crying." The girl stood up immediately and flashed a cute smile at him. Vladis was blinded by that smile and averted his gaze to hide his red cheeks. With that, she followed him inside the jungle, but after walking for over 15 minutes, she got tired and started panting.

In his mind, Vladis thought 'Hey Camy if we will walk with this speed then we won't be able to find your sister before the sky turns dark and not only that he had to find Arthur and that beast too'

"Big brother what is your name? You haven't told me your name and what if the beast comes again?" The girl became terrified again after remembering the beast.

"You can call me big brother and don't worry I will fight with the beast for you if he shows up again. I promise you that no harm will come to you okay" The boy smiled calmly.

"Okay" Camy smiled.

"Now come on and hop on my back so I can carry you" Little Vladis offered.

"No! Big brother Rune told me not to touch any other man instead of father and him" the little girl said hastily.

"But we will be late if we are going to depend on your little legs," Lil Vladis was now in a dilemma.

"Don't worry I won't tell anyone that I carried you and you too don't tell anyone. In this way, nobody will ever know about it. It will remain a secret."

The girl was not convinced but after thinking about her dear sister she compromised and hopped on the back of little Vladis. Unknown to them, a blissful smile appeared on little Vlad's face. The girl was extremely chatty, and she never stopped for once during the whole ride. Little Vladis remained quiet but he was attentive to her and the surroundings in case of any threat. The girl did not mind his silence and was chatting about anything and everything.
