Chapter #1:The News.

It was a sunny afternoon and the warm sunlight painted the garden golden. The sweet scent of roses and marigolds filled the air as the cool breeze lightly touched the soft cheeks that were dyed rose. Her hair almost reached the floor and looked like pure white silk fluttered as her faded silver eyes that looked like clear crystals focused on every page with novelty and interest.

She reached out to turn the page with her porcelain white hand and bit her rosy lips.

"It's the last page." She sighed and closed the book.

"So this is what freedom is." She smiled and lifted her teacup to her lips and sipped her favorite jasmine tea.

"Luci~!" Someone cheerfully called her by her nickname and before she could turn around her eyes were covered with soft delicate hands.

"Aria!" Luciana giggled as she tried to put the teacup before she dropped it on her new dress.

She started to play with her hair covering her forehead.

"Aria stop really." Luciana grabbed Aria's wrists mischievously.

"Sister you've missed the most important event of today." Aria frowned.

"What happened?" Luciana calmly inquired as she poured tea into the cup for her sister.

"Lynn took her first flight." She jumped excitedly.

Hearing this Luciana stopped midway for a few seconds and silently placed the teapot back on the glass table.

"Avlynn did?" she passed the teacup to her sister.

"Yes, she looked so adorable. You should've seen how she gave her best," she exclaimed while sipping her tea.

If anyone were to hear about it. It was not an ordinary realm. Amanécer was an empire that was entirely a different realm ruled by 'pure' species that were different from humans. Their distinct features were something that made them superior to other realms. They had either, silver, or blonde hair and silver eyes. But the major trait was their wings. When an Amanécerian was born they were blessed with the light that predicted when the child will be developing their new wings. It was mostly at the age of five. The wings only appeared when they needed them and vanished if they were not used. They were blessed with the power of healing others and destroying evil.

The third emperor of Amenécer built institutes all over the empire solely for training the young ones.

And on this day Luciana's youngest sister princess Avlynn turned five this year and had her first experience flying.

"Luci~lets go already," Aria whined as she pulled her hand.

"Behave like a proper princess Aria. You're already sixteen this year." she revoked her childish behavior.

"Luci~You become sensitive whenever you are told of a new flight. Does it bother you that much?" Aria took her sister's hand who was older than her by four years.

"No, my dear." She smiled sweetly and proceeded on a flight of steps.

"I'm not flying. I'll go with you." she grabbed Luci's hand.

"But you'll get tired."

"C'mon, it won't be that tiring."

No matter how much Luci had insisted Aria stubbornly strode up the endless flight of steps.

Moments later, Luci could see her giving away before she could climb the first half.

Sigh sighed a hopeless sigh and we ended down the stair again to where her sister lay down breathlessly.

"You never learn do you." she brushed Aria'a platinum blonde hair and wiped off Aria's forehead.

"Sister, how do you climb up this hell's gate." she tried to catch her breath."

"Rather than troubling yourself why not go to imperial father and inform him that I will be a little late." she smiled and urged her to ascend as quickly as possible before she gave in to her obstinacy.

" Why not fly with me? "She offered her.

A sudden sensation of fear darted through her chest as her heart throbbed rapidly.

"Looks like you're fine. It won't take long. "She got up and turned away to climb the steps once again without another word.

Aria frowned as her wings appeared. Luci saw her fly up the building to the grand hall of the imperial palace.

Her desire to fly like any other of her kind caused her 'wing' to faintly appear as she tried to feel it. She was considered special as compared to others.

Unlike her father and sisters, she inherited the traits of her late mother. White hair that looked like soft silk threads loosely woven and faint silver eyes that looked like two full moons. Instead of the powers like her father who possessed the command over the winds, she developed the power of healing through her voice. At Melody's age, the third-born princess, Luci had become a living legend who enchanted all creatures with her bewitching voice that was rumored to bring the heavens down and the dead to come back to life.

To spend her free time alone she either sang to their mother or read books that could take her to a different world that she couldn't experience. Unlike her younger sisters, she was educated in the palace.

Feeling down she started to sing as she climbed up the stairs. She could see the palace servants and the other subjects fly high in the sky.

The birds circled over her in the sky to listen to her melodious voice.

By the time she stopped singing, she had already arrived at the main hall. The guards opened the huge doors made of pure quartz and gold.

"Announcing the arrival of her highness princess Luciana the first ray of light of Amanécer Empire."

There in the great hall, she entered and bowed before the ruler of this impregnable empire the highest of nobility, her father the great Emperor of Amanécer Helios Aidan Mircéa de Amanécer.

"Luciana Mircéa greets the holy light of Amanécer."

She humbly greeted the Emperor yet radiating elegance.

Then she looked up into his eyes that reflected the sun and were bright as gold which contrasted well with his platinum blonde hair.

He smiled faintly and asked her to sit on the chair of his deceased empress.

Allowing her to sit on the sacred seat meant something out of ordinary.

She reluctantly stepped up the steps and seated herself beside her father.

"I have an important matter to discuss with you Luciana about Melody and Aria."

Her sisters stood beside her except for the youngest Avlynn who flew hastily and seated herself on Luci's lap had hugged her.

Luciana had always posed as a motherly figure for her sisters after their deceased mother.

She smiled and wrapped her arm around Avlynn and gave a light peck on her forehead.

"Ahem! So where were we?" Helios coughed and resumed from where he left.

"The imperial family have set up a union with Caelus family."
