18 18. Sword Training 2

Under the evening sun, the two of them swung their wooden swords against each other. The young man gasped and swung his wooden sword, which he could barely hold, and responded by swinging the sword comfortably in proportion to the female body in front of him.

"You are too disorganized, no, you are too weak. Look at you, you're out of breath after shaking it ten more times.

Also, your stance is full of mistakes, you don't pay attention to the foot opening while doing the stabbing movement."

Gathering himself once again at Dragonfly's instructions, Ron drew a deep breath into his lungs.

He wiped his sweaty forehead and then raised his sword again. He had never thought that the sword would be this difficult. Moreover, when he was in front of someone who reciprocated his every move, this situation made him even more difficult.

As for the reason, Dragonfly was not at all merciful when training him. He was inclined to beat her for every mistake.

"At least let me take these bags out, even breathing is killing me right now."

Dragonfly dropped the wooden sword in his hand to the ground. He took a sip of water from his canteen, "No, these bags are the fastest way to gain strength. And this way, you act as if you have plate armor on your body. Once you get used to it, you'll be free like a swallow bird when we take these bags off."

Preoccupied with his breathing, Ron snatched the flask from Dragonfly's hand. "I'm not even in the mood to move, let alone being free. I feel like even my wings were broken because of you."

The duo rested for a while, while the sun surrendered itself to the night. The white moon began to decorate the night.

"Then start your next workout."

His next workout was actually his own suggestion, he did a simple barbell and weights by sculpting the ground. It hurt him to do this every time, and he still had a half-day commute to run in the morning.

Ron suddenly realized that the Mustang was in much better shape than he was.

The two glances quickly turned fiery. A fight might have broken out if this look was between humans, but when it was done by a horse and a human, Mustang just neighed and averted his gaze.

"Yeah, it's ridiculous what you're doing, it's not even his fault." When he finished talking to himself, he got up from the ground and worked his magic to build up his weights once again.

As he always started lifting weights, he felt a sense of relief. He found this very interesting, as he had learned from fragmented memories that he had never lifted weights before.

Feeling relieved, Ron continued to lift his weights for another two hours.

Then he began his meditation and let another day pass like this.

On the road for a total of fifteen days, the duo had to stop as Ron went crazy to take a bath.

In no time, Ron built an earthen tub and filled it with water magic, then heated it.

As the hot water touched his skin, Ron felt that he was the happiest person in the world.

Dragonfly couldn't help but sigh when she saw Ron's satisfied expression. Even though she had an eager expression on her face, she couldn't show it to Ron.

If the young Sorcerer had any flaws, it was his lack of common sense. If she showed him this, Ron would definitely invite him over for bathing pleasure.

Ron was startled by Dragonfly's sudden increase in her gaze, and turned his gaze to Dragonfly. Then he waved his hand and said, "What are you waiting for! The water is beautiful!" yell.

Dragonfly slapped her forehead with one hand. She just said, "I'll take my bath when you're done."

Ron didn't care. When he was done with the water, he poured out the water and refilled the earthen tub with clean water. He then warmed it up and left it ready for the Dragonfly to enter.

At the words "I'll kill you if you look", Dragonfly said before going to the bathroom, Ron got scared and began to meditate.

On the morning of the sixteenth day, the huge walls of the city appeared before the eyes of the two. Even from here, Ron could see the huge Redania flag, "This flag indicates that the city is in celebration."

Directly answering the question on Ron's mind, Dragonfly then rode his horse Darkrose towards their destination.

Although their target seemed close, it took a full day before they came to the front of the huge city wall. The duo, who could not enter the city due to the city guard closing the gates, lit a campfire in the wild for one last time.

The city of Rinde was a huge city with a large number of transmitters and also known for its opposition to magic. However, the most interesting part was that, under all this enchantment opposition, Yennefer of Sorceress Vengerberg, who had just graduated from Aretuza, resided here.

Opposition to magic was split in two for the nobility in this city. Of the nobles, especially the city lord and his subjects, supported magic, but this included only a small portion of the general nobility.

They were particularly supportive of anti-magicism, especially if it was Laurelnose and her subjects, who were selling alchemical products.

The increasingly powerful anti-magic sentiments of Prince Heribert and his entourage had made Laurelnose and his circle quickly gain credibility.

Ron, of course, knew so little about all these events that he could hardly be said to have known at all.

Looking excitedly at the city wall, lit by torches at dusk, Ron loved the shine of the streamers. On the other hand, among the thoughts in his mind was breaking these huge walls if he mixed the most powerful fire magic with earth magic.

Quickly calculating in his mind, Ron then wore a wicked smile on his face. If his calculations were correct, he wouldn't even need his strongest magic. With a moderate mix of fire and the strongest earth magic, and only twenty percent of the chaos energy in his body, he could tear down these walls.

Crazy thoughts echoed in his mind as Ron began to meditate in the dim light of the campfire in the nightfall.
