A Witcher at Hogwarts

A man is reborn in the Harry Potter verse with everything he needs to become a Witcher This is my first attempt at writing so i am open to thoughts and criticism, i don't know how often i will update due to my working 40 to 60 hours a week but i plan to at least finish this fan fiction because it has been an idea of mine for a while to write one instead of reading all the awesome fan fictions I have come into contact with.

(May 20th, 1982)

As the sound of wood clacking against each other echoes through the forest of Thetford we can see to young children sparring with transfigured wooden swords for their morning exercise. Katrina and Stephen had both grown a couple inches and gained quite a bit of muscle. As they continued to dance about the clearing exchanging blows, I called for a stop and handed them both some water. "you two have come a long way" and they have from the scrawny kinds they were seven months ago they have grown in more ways than just strength; they have learned how to forage how to make camp, find water hunt and much more. With the basics taught it was time to head to Hogwarts. With four months left until the start of the new school year they had plenty of time to learn about dark creatures and make their way into the forbidden forest for a hunt/

As I instructed the kids to pick up the campsite, I gathered all my belongings before getting ready to leave for the nearest road. "How are we going to get there professor wolfsbane?" Katrina asked. I shot her a fake glare and replied, "I told you either Wulfric or Professor Wolf" she stuck her togue out at me and asked me another question.

"How are we going to get to the school professor?" "We will be taking a bus to London and from there we will take the floo from the leaky cauldron to Hogsmeade." I decided not to tell them about the knight bus because I thought it would be funny to watch there expressions. At the same time, I was a little nervous due to the fact of me not riding it either.

Arriving at the closest road I pulled out my want and raising it up. A couple of minutes later a screech was heard in front of us as a red double-decker bus came into view, climbing on with Stella climbing up after me noticing that the twins didn't follow, I threw a glance over my shoulder and asked if they were coming. Watching the kids jump on after me I heard a voice asking where to. After replying with the leaky cauldron, I sat down and gripped a hand bar like my life depended on it, receiving odd looks from Stephen and Katrina, I gave them a smile a cruel smile.

Feeling the bus take off and watching both kids fly to the back of the bus and hearing their screams I couldn't help but laugh at their predicament. After watching their struggle a while longer, I decided to lend them a helping hand, reaching to remove my wand from my bracer I waved it casting an accio to have them fly to the seats next to me they both grabbed a handle and shot me their best attempt at a glare.

After about an hours long drive making multiple stops to pick up and drop off multiple passengers, we arrived at the Leaky Cauldron skipping the bar area I led them to the brick wall in the back and entered the sequence with my wand and watched the brick wall shift. I led them to Madam Malkin's and had some everyday clothes made and a pair of pajamas each so they would have clothes to wear in the tower and to classes about magical beasts and combat.

They would return here for their school supplies after passing the trial of grasses. With the perfected Witcher concoction I knew there was a high chance for them to be successful, but I didn't want to just give it to them. They needed to feel like they earned it themselves, which is when I came up with the condition of hunting a dark creature in the forbidden forest. I have all the necessary ingredients for the concoction but using the ingredients they will hunt themselves will involve them in the whole process.

Making our way out to the clothing store with the promise to have them delivered to Hogwarts in a few days. We made our way back to the Leaky Cauldron and used the floo to appear in Hogsmeade. Making our way to the castle we went straight for the tower, and I showed them the commons room and let them each pick out a room and told them to shower and I would get some food ready for them.

Once Wulfric left the common room the twins glanced at each other and ran off to check every nook and corner of the dormitories. Seeing the luxurious sofas and chairs by the fireplace they took a seat in a pair of chairs by a fireplace that lit itself after sitting down. "What do you think Stephen?" "I don't know I didn't think we would have a place for ourselves to call home, but here we are." They still couldn't believe the situation they found themselves in.

Last year when they met Wulfric they only agreed to go with him because they were uncertain if they could continue to live the way they had been. After being trained by him for more than half a year they realized that they felt more self-assurance. They were still scared about the upcoming trial where they would venture into the forbidden forest to hunt a dark creature for their trial.

After training for more than half a year in that forest they built a lot of self-confidence, they weren't the best swordsmen, but they knew that with practice they could be great, if they gave it their best. With that thought they started talking about what they though their classes would be like tomorrow only knowing that they would be taught the basics about being a Witcher.

After about a hour of talking plates of food appeared in front of them and they scarfed down the food with a gleeful expression on their faces. It was not anything fancy but compared to what they had been eating the past few months it might as well have been a 3-course dish from a five-star restaurant. After finishing up their food they made their way to their bedrooms to go to bed excited about the classes that would start in earnest tomorrow morning.
