Prologue: That Winter

Time is of the essence.

I always hear that phrase

From the olden souls, the loquacious philosopher, and from somebody else that I couldn't seem to remember whose name it was— Has always said the same thing to me. It is a proverb that has stuck in my mind for ages, but I have no idea as to what it meant.

But, I do know a thing:

Time is ever going and never goes back.

What has been done can't be undone and what has slipped by our hands can't be claimed again. But, even as time progresses through infinity, the regrets we made in the past will forever stay as a scar, a testimony of our mistake. And... no matter how much we weep from the pain of the past, we could only go on from then.

Because just like time, we can only go forward.

But, let me ask you a question:

If you were given a chance to go back in the past to fix your mistakes

Would you?
