5 Time skip

It's been 2 years since I arrived at dragonfall city, a lot has happened in thesFor e past two years, first of all, I got a penthouse overlooking the entire city with the help of the money the system gave me for 1 point from the shop, second I have become a regular at the dragonfall cafe and after going there for a while I have learned the name of the girl behind the counter, her name is Emily and she has been running the cafe with her grandmother for about 5 years, I also found out the reason that no one else came into the cafe was that in the second year of the business Emily had accidentally spilled coffee on an influential food critic and after one bad review from him, the cafe almost went bankrupt almost causing them to have to close the cafe.

The last and most important thing to happen in the last few years was the appearance of what this world called the gifted, the gifted are essentially this world's superheroes, the most famous gifted right now is someone who calls himself the all-father with the power of time deceleration when he first appeared everyone thought that his name was pretty arrogant but after he demonstrated the usefulness and power of his rare mutation everyone shifted to accept him as the most powerful hero for the time being.

When the gifted first appeared a year ago governments tried to capture and research them but after a couple of months of research governments finally discovered a way to forcefully awaken people but before any of them could announce what they had found to the public several high-ranking families forced them to keep their mouths shut so that only the rich and powerful families could have abilities. The only way normal people can have powers is if they awakened from their luck, of course, this knowledge isn't available to the public the only way I know about what the families did was because of my own curiosity about how this world works.

After staying in this world for this long I have become quite bored with everyone doing the same thing every day, after doing everything that I wanted to do in my past life the only thing left to do is to pay a visit to one of the gifted families to see if it's better to leave the world the way it is or to change it so everyone has a power.

Before I go pay one of them a visit I have to get stronger in case a fight breaks out even if I could easily match anyone in hand to hand combat thanks to the king of fighters ability I bought from the shop. So while sitting on the couch I pull out my phone and ask the system a question.

"Hey, system is there a way for me to get power without having to go through an awakening?"

Doing what the system told me to I find myself at the fuse screen, it was a screen with a bunch of abilities, their definitions, and the number of people that currently have the ability, after scrolling through the abilities for a couple of minutes I found 3 abilities to choose from.

Lesser Time Manipulation

Description: The ability to control a small portion of time but this power is only useable for an hour each day, the user of this ability can train themselves to expand the time of their power.

Number of users: 2

Teleportation

Description: The ability to move from one point to another in an instant but the distance the user can teleport depends on the user's mastery of the ability.

Number of users: 18

Elemental Manipulation

Description: The ability to manipulate the four basic elements of the universe (water, earth, fire, air) users of this ability can train themselves to control the more complex elements such as space or solar energy

Number of users: 4

After thinking about it for a long time I finally decided to go with elemental manipulation, not only does it give me enough versatility for any situation but it also allows me with enough training to manipulate basically anything.

After pressing the fuse button under the element manipulation, I was paralyzed and couldn't move at all but before I started freaking out the system's voice came of nowhere.

I can complain about not being able to move my body since the system is only trying to help me so I just fall asleep knowing that it's the only thing I can do for the next day.

24 hours later

It's been a couple of minutes since Daniel was able to move, it's about 8 o clock in the morning so after he got used to moving again he immediately got ready for the day but instead of his normal routine of brushing his teeth, washing his face, and taking a shower, he tried to use his new element manipulation to control the water while washing his face but with no luck, it's safe to assume that learning how to control his powers will be harder than controlling his breathing.

Once he was done getting ready for the day he went to his private gym but when he walked in it was just a huge empty room with no weights or equipment, because of the king of fighters' skill that he purchased when he first became a creator his body is always in peak condition even if he just eats ice cream 24/7.

He was unable to use this room to the fullest since the only thing he did in this room was practice martial arts that he had already mastered.

Although he couldn't use this room in the past this was the perfect place for him to train his mastery over his powers, so after he got the four basic elements, a bucket full of water, a lit candle, and dirt from his garden, he started training.
