I followed Dad and Doc into the living room while Mom went into the kitchen. I wasn't sure what I was going to do right now, aside from trying to think about what to do here. What was I going to do for Ocean? How was I going to make this better for him?

"Doc?" I looked up at him. "I..i..if Ocean decides that he can't.. that he can't do this, are there options?" I didn't want to think about this at all. This wasn't something that I ever thought would be a problem for us. And I knew that people like us, the various shifters, didn't do this kind of thing unless they absolutely had to. This wasn't a decision to make lightly, but I needed to know. 

"It would be harder for me to do something about it than it would for a woman in the same position, but I could possibly operate on him and take care of it. It's not like it's impossible, it would just be much more invasive."
