Well, that was a tense few minutes. I was glad that we were able to convince Tide of what was going on. Even if he was acting a little weird about me being a Siren that was a guy. I mean, I guess I get it. He loves to learn new things. He loves to be the guy in charge of information. And here he was getting the hottest scoop of the decade, maybe of the millennium. Hell, I didn't know who would be interested in knowing that I was a male Siren and who wouldn't I didn't know if people would see me as an abomination or as a special commodity. I didn't know what to expect, which was why I wanted to keep myself hidden in the beginning.

Yes, it had been Doc's suggestion, but I agreed with him. It was the best option for me. It would keep me safe. And yet, here I was, showing my true self to the man that lived here. I just hoped that it didn't come back to bite me in the ass.
