Surprise

I am alone in my house watching TV minding my own business. A usual Tuesday morning. I am seventeen, don't have a job, and I go to an alternative school so I don't leave the house often. I have lots of friends but they are busy, have strict parents, or they are lame and don't want to make plans with anyone. *Man this sucks. I am glad to have the Tv but this sucks.* My thoughts pause when an unexpected vehicle pulls up in the driveway. I look out the window to check if it could be my neighbors off work early or my little sister getting out of school early. It's not any of them. A blue truck that I do not recognize is in my driveway. Someone in the passenger seat gets out. I recognize him instantly he is my crush from school, Zaidyn. His older brother rolls the passenger window down and says something to him, laughs, and drives away. Zaidyn is walking to my front door with a backpack that seems to be full of stuff. My heart races anxiously waiting for the doorbell. Just after it rang I couldn't remember anything except that he was in my living room sitting on my beanbag with his backpack not in sight.

"So uh, your mom...my mom they work together and my parents are separating and I can't stay with anyone else and our parents agreed to let me stay here." Zaidyn had explained, breaking the safety of silence.

" Ah yea my mom hasn't said anything of this information to me yet."

"Yea mine has only just told me, and apparently we only live ten minutes away from each other!"

"Nice!" We both go silent not knowing what to say. *Maybe I should offer to watch something*

"So uh after I shower would you like to watch something together?" *Shiii- rookie mistake, I could have basically just asked if he wanted to Tv and chill! Ughhh I hate-*

"Sure sounds cool!" *Oh that wasn't such a bad answer actually wow...uh cool!*

"O-ok uh just make yourself comfortable and if you need anything while I'm in the shower you can open the door and ask. There is a curtain don't worry. Oh and you can watch whatever you like on the Tv just not the uh..that kind of stuff."

"Ok, thanks." I leave almost in what would look like a rush if I were in his shoes, I half passed out from embarrassment.
